Question about 2000 Yamaha V-Max
When I turn on the key the vboost should cycle open then closed but sometimes it does and other times it doesn't ( just a grrrr noise as it tries)
any ideas? I checked the connections under the scoop and all appears to be tight.
I had a similiar problem with my Vmax. It was the Vboost computer for mine. It is located under the Left side scoop and is a small black plastic box with a round electrical connector. They are very expensive new. I got my replacement on ebay for around 75.00 dollars. I hope this helps.
