How do i change the cam belt on a 2007 bmw r1200gs adventure motorbike

There is no cam belt. Cams are chain driven and you have to remove and strip the entire motor to change the chains.

How to replace the cam cover gasket

If you haven't removed the cams out of the engine then there shouldn't be a problem, the cover just slips back over. you may have to wiggle the cams a little to fit into the cam chest(cover) but they go right back in. if you have removed the cams then you need more help than you think.

How do i set cam position and timing on an old yamaha xt 500

You didn't say WHY the cam / valve timing needs to be reset. For some reason I get the feeling someone told you that resetting was needed and so you are asking how. Obviously, you may have installed new pistons and that is why the resetting is needed. In either event, when the cam timing is set the valve timing is also set. Other than adjusting valve lash, setting the cam sets the valve timing. Below is a web site where you can do a free download of a factory service manual. The process is not hard but having a manual will be more help and faster help than I can give online.

Cant figure out the timing marks on my 500 cs turbo

There is a dot on the back of the cam gear, it needs to line up with the edge of the valve cover. There is a 0 mark on the flywheel, view it through the hole in the bellhousing. And the rotor inside the distributor must line up with the mark on the distributor housing.
