Question about 2005 Yamaha Xv 250 Virago S
Hi,this may help, upgrading a stator is a very expensive option,(the standard ones are expensive enough),by heated gear i assume you mean heated hand grips?.if so then a better option would be to have the heated accessories wired through a relay and feeding direct (via the relay)from the battery, also look at a higher rated battery of the same external dimensions, both of these options are easy and relatively inexpensive,i have heated grips, seat, driving and spotlights and a 200w per channel stereo on my goldwing simply with everything running thriugh relays with a direct switced feed to a heavy duty battery and have had no problems at all even in a minus 15 deg c newzealand winter...cheers
