Have you tried to clean the injectors or to see if injectors was bad you will need some help doing this step go get some carb cleaner from any auto parts store a big can then start your motorcycle get some one to kep it running for you then squirt the carb cleaner in where the air filters are on both sides and then start feathering the gas to keep it running. this will take awhile but keep doing it till the bike starts running right. sounds like you have carbon build up somewhere. hope this helps good luck

Most ignition modules have two parts -- a low speed section and a high speed section. Your low rev section could be bad. Most parts stores will test it free.

Pump will not unload.

Hi if it stop when the trigger is pulled the issue is with the motor.
stopping is caused by , low revs on motor or low compression or poor spark, sometimes faulty carby.
change spark plug , adjust valve ( when valve has some slight side movment it is ok if up and down , it should be tighter (valves usually under side cover near top ) increase revs a little ( make sure revs dont get rough when running high) set max revs to when the engine still runs smoothly at max.

You need to tunes up the carbs. The small jets in the carbs can easily run at idle when partially clogged but can't sustain a high rev without bucking the bike.

High revs then runs as though youve got a kangaroo in the tank

Sounds more like a faulty sensor. Anywhere that could put a scan tool on it for trouble codes?

My gsxr 600 srad 97 modle it runs fine when cold but when warm it splutters when in low revs and it back fires now an again

i have just had the same problem with my 99 srad 600. there is only one soloution to this and it is not a dyno, that just makes thing worse, the flat spot just off idle is due to it beign on carbs and i have put slightly shorter inlet tracts onto the carbs which helps them breeth easier this coupled with a new front sproket which is one tooth less than standard will get you over the stutter problem and will help the bike at lower revs as the sproket inceases the rev range right from the off throttle position, but be careful as the lower gearing makes for some good wheelies if your over keen on the gas. lol.
