Replace beko 8227 drum bearings

Remove drium.
Remove bearing(s) from drum

Using a brass drift punch find the two slots behind the bearing race,
and drive the race out using the brass drift. If you must use a steel drift , wear eye protection as the race may shatter like glass.

Install new race, purchased for an auto parts dealer or a bearing dealer, if one is available to you, using the brass drift punch, or a piece of wood and a hammer . Do not allow the hammer to touch the new race.

Pack the new bearing(s) with grease. Reassemble drum onto machine.

Garmin gpx files

After you are finished one bike ride, look for the settings option to choose "end this ride" or to save it. This way when you do another ride it will start a new separate gpx file.

Who often do i change the oil on a kx250

If you race this bike then I would suggest at the end of every full race meet dump the oil and filter as apart of the clean down to put away for next race day routine obviously fill it back up when due to race next
If your just recreational use and not going on the rev limiter all day long then about every 2 - 4 hours of running time would be OK
simple rule of thumb with the four stroke Motocross bikes if you love the bike and you can afford it change the oil as much as possible you cannot change to often in my opinion (just don't over tighten the sump plug just nipped up is fine)
cheers mate happy riding

Thanks again wd4ity, one more question, when you mentioned " from the face of the final drive gear and that the race is between 0.9950" and 1.000" (25.27-25.40mm) long." Are you...

If you noticed, the face of the main drive gear protrudes completely though the nut that holds the sprocket on. It is the part with the threads on it. The rear end of the race should be 0.100" between the threaded part of the final drive gear and the back end of the race. The race should measure between 0.9950" and 1.000" long.

I am not familiar with a new type of seal. There was nothing wrong with the old style. If the "new" seal is wider, it may be extending the lip back past the end of the race. What I'd do is put a light coat of grease on the race. Then put the primary on but don't install the bolts, simple put it on and push it back to where it butts up against the transmission. Then, take it back off and see where the lip of the seal is riding by looking where the seal lips have pushed the grease to.

To install the race, you must have a special tool. It has to be "pushed" onto the mainshaft and pulled off. If the race slides on, somethiing is wrong. If you take the seal alone, without the seal in the inner primary, and slide it on the race, there should be a tension, about 0.020". If the seal does not have tension on the race, how can it keep oil from leaking. The outside of the race should be about 0.020" LARGER than the inner diameter of the seal.

To help you even more, please contact me directly at I may can scan some pics out of the service manual and send them to you.

Good luck

Primary seal leaks

Hello's another HD design flaw, you can replace it, but the end result will be the same. Consider yourself lucky you were able to remove it. I have had to cut them out before due to lack of room to get puller in place.
S & S makes a Hi-Perf. aftermarket replacement that will eliminate this "walk" ...and i think Baker does also. You might want to consider these options. I never cared much for oil leaks.

Good luck...i hope this helps fixya.
