I need the year, make, and model of your motorcycle please click on the word "COMMENT" below and provide this information in the box that will open and then click on the green comment box in the bottom right-hand corner after it posts I will receive an "ALERT" icon that will allow me to respond to your information.

How to adjust and idle problem on an royal star 1300 Yamaha motorcycle ?

Idle adjust is very simple on almost any motorcycle. That said I'm not familiar with your bike in particular, so you'll have to locate where the throttle-stop or idle-adjust screw is on your bike. Screwing it in will raise your idle while screwing it out will lower it.

On a 2002 ninja ex250f the idle is set but then it will goes up why?

Its seems natural. because when your starting cold the engine is not at the normal operating temperature. So when the engine heats up the idle goes up that means it reached the Normal operating temp.

Idle

Yes, you have to adjust the Idle screw. If you are referring to a "ninja" as a scooter I would take the machine to a mechanic. If you are referring to a multi cylinder sports motorcycle.I would take it to a mechanic. The only reason I say that you should see a professional is because there is no "Tuning screw" on a motorcycle.
