Question about Motorcycles
Hi, Karen for this situation I would call or visit my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry.
Good luck and have a wonderful day.

Testimonial: "I figured the issue out...yaaa. there is a button which for the bike to go forward the leaver has to push the button in, so the leaver has a small 'L' shape nub on it which in turn pushes the button in that allows the bike to go forward. When you engage the rear brake the button is released which stops the flow of power. thanks,"
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
