You'll need 15A and 7A fuses. Make sure they are motorcycle fuses and not car fuses. The longer length car fuses can cause problems.

I have removed the clutch on my 1974 Honda cb 750, how do I remove the cluth basket? Is there a special tool to remove the basket?

Hi, Anthony for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. For more information about your issue and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the links below. Good luck and have a nice day.

Firing order on cb750 1974 honda

left coil feeds 1 and 4...right coil feeds 2 and 3...as long as you stick to this it doesn't matter which lead goes to which plug. Left coil will have one short lead and one long...short =1...long = 4. Right coil leads will be about even in length...doesn't matter which goes to 2 or 3.
It's a wasted spark system so plugs 1 and 4 fire together...2 and 3 fire together...only 1 cylinder in each pair will be compressed and ready to fire when the spark happens, the other will be empty and coming on to it's inlet stroke...

I have a 1974 CB750 Honda and I have owned it since 1975. It has run well over the years. I went to start it the other day and when I hit the start button, I lost power and the bike is dead. No lights,...

If you lost all electrics, it may be in the battery cables, check where it grounds to the frame and the engine, and check continuity of the cables themselves in case they have corroded or broken under the insulation.
.you said the main fuse is ok but does it have power to it? use a test light to check both side of fuse for power

I have a 1974 honda cb750 my first bike and i dont know nothing about bikes.it dose not run and the guy said the oil just drained out one night. anybody know what that means?

If it's a 4 cycle engine that doesn't mix oil with the gas (2 cycle engine), then I would say that there is an oil leak, a massive one, that needs to be repaired before trying to start and run it.

Maybe the oil pan got rusty or something. I don't know.

Good luck on the repair.

Battery

maintenance-free battery for my 1976 Benelli 750 SEI but the suppliers I've contacted have no record of what model battery it takes. All the shop manual says is a 12 Volt 14 Amp Hour battery. Anyone know of an equivalent battery of the right size that will fit say from a Honda CB750 or CB500 maybe? Thanks! ,What you need is an AGM 20 Amp Hour battery to fit a BMW Boxer or K series. EG Varta 50814 (standard european size battery, not japanese),,,
