98' Honda Accord v6 cranks but won't start. Getting spark, Fuel pump is working, tried using starter fluid still won't start.

Drove to 7/11 wouldn't start. Starter started going out a couple of days before. Went home a block away got back an hour later, car had been impounded. Got car back, still wouldn't start, towed it home. Put a starter in, then battery died. Bought a reconditioned battery and still wouldn't start. After a week or so had to keep charging battery. Went to Walmart and bought a brand new battery and installed it. Still won't start. Replaced Dist. cap and rotor, because where the coil wire plugs into it, inside tip was broken. Plug is getting spark, fuel pump is working. Even tried spraying starter fluid into throttle body... Still won't start! I would appreciate any suggestions. Never had this big of problem, always been able to figure it out one way or another. Thanks, Chris

Does it crank at all? Or do you mean the engine turns over but never starts. Different places to look depending on what is happpening. If the starter engages but there is just a whirling sound (not like it normally sounds), the timing belt may have broken.

1996 honda accord wont start fuel pump?

Sounds like your fuel pump relay is out. It's very common on these older Hondas. Quite pricy too.

2003 honda accord lx cranks but wont start new battery starter fuel pump son drove it about a mile then drove home next day cranks but wont start

You must perform an engine control module fault code test as well as test the fuel pressure, if no codes are present and fuel pressure is ok check for a defective camshaft drive belt.

What dose main pickup sensor do on a 1991 honda accord lx

if you feel savvy enough, check to see if it produces spark and also check if the fuel pump is working. If no spark usually a problem in the distributor. if no fuel coming out of the fuel line, maybe bad fuel pump. need to check if pump is not working.

2000 ford 4.0 explorer cranks but fails to start. It acts like it starts after sitting all night but then only cranks, what is wrong?

Check for spark to the sparkplug. Try a shot of starting fluid as having gas pumping and having the fuel injectors opening are 2 different things. If you have spark, then the fuel injectors may not be working. Quick diagnosis is to use starting fluid and see if engine tries to run. This indicates problem is not lack of spark but lack of fuel getting into cylinders.

I have a 91 accord that's driving me crazy and broke! I have replaced the distributor, cap, button, plugs, wires, main relay, fuel pump and filter, and the computer to get this thing to start. It's getting...

OK, I see the relay you're talking about. It takes orders from the ECM. Same orders go to the starter. So the starter cranks, right? And both fuse 2 and 28 are good? Can you check for voltage at the fuel pump connector using a test light? Maybe the problem is with the wire that goes from the relay to the pump. That is the only thing I can see that would prevent the pump from working. Or, it could be the ground wire from the motor to ground. See diagram below.
