Why doesn't it start?

Try spraying carb cleaner inside the carburetor. Left over gas will clog the tiny ports inside the carburetor. Next time either add stabilizer in your gas tank or run it dry until next season. Good luck!

How to replace fuel line on a Mac 10-10

If its a Mac 10-10 it is old enough to need a thorough major component disassembly and service. Keep your smart phone handy and take a few dozen pictures as you disassemble each component until you get down to just the engine/clutch assembly. Use compressed air and possibly a spray can of carbuetor cleaner (follow all the safety instructions) to totally clean the impacted sawdust and oil from the clutch, magneto, cylinder and the removed components.

With the new replacement fuel line and impulse line on hand, start the reassembly referring to the pictures in reverse order....

Can a gas powered blower be repaired if it was drooped in pool.

it's hard to get it running again...probably it's not worth a try...
- you should open the carburetor, dry and clean it.
then the spark plug has to be removed and dried with a blow torch, also inside the cylinder opening.
then you better buy a can of starter spray to ease a start procedure.

Want crank 2000 blazer

2000 Chevy blazer doesn't have a carburetor. It's multiport/sequential port fuel injected. Your injectors look like a spider inside the intake manifold. If they are not delivering fuel, that assembly needs to be replaced. That's a pretty big deal. Need to replace a few other gaskets as well since other components will be pulled.

Fuel leaking into the carbuetor

Depending on the type of lawn mower, steal a carburetor off another mower, get a gasket kit/make some gaskets from copper gasket material, and put it all back together.

Huffy 5000 gen. started once after purchase then gas drain and gen stored. will not start now. new gas in tank, oil has been changed, spark at spark plug ( good not great) old gas drained from carb bowl,...

Hi men2cu...
Try this method, being you have spark and gas getting to the carburetor...

Get a can of starting fluid, and spray a small amount of it into the carburetor and then try to crank it again...if it cranks and runs then problem fixed...if it cranks and shuts off right away, then you have some trash in your inlet valve in your carburetor.
You can try tapping the carburetor lightly with a hammer and sometimes that will dislodge the float needle if it doesn't dislodge the needle valve then the carburetor will have to be disassemble and cleaned.
Once this is complete your generator should run fine.

Volvo pento 1998 want start with out pouring gas down throat of carburetor (marine)

There are a few things to check for this problem and you will need a helper to run 1 test on the engine. Whether you have a carburetor or injectors the engine needs to draw in the fuel. Put your hands over the carburetor without the flash arrestor on it. Have a helper crank the engine and try to start it doing what you normally would do on a cold start.

If you feel a vacuum draw and the engine starts or the carburetor gets wet and tries to start you need to adjust the choke or test the intake manifold gasket.
On a carburetor the choke plate needs to be closed when cold or even warm on some motors. The intake gasket needs to seal and can seal when it gets hot.

After you get the motor running squirt some water around the seams of the intake gasket and see if the Rpms drop or the engine cuts out. Same thing for the base carburetor gasket.

If adjusting the choke does not help and there are no manifold leaks you need to remove the carb with as little disturbance as possible. Then place it on a level surface and expose the bowl to see if it is dry or low on gas. If the bowl is dry,you need a rebuild and if the level is low you need to adjust the float. Get your model number for the carburetor and go online to find the specs or just wing it. Usually fuel levels are 3/8 to 1/4 inch below the top level of the fuel bowl.

Some one played a bad joke on me they put antifrezee in my gas tank and what to do to get out

Take to a garage and you will soon find out that "bad joke" is the wrong name for this. All gas must be removed and gas tank dropped and cleaned. you can only hope that that will fix it. Fuel pump, line and injectors may also need attention.

How do i drain gas from 20hp 42in yard tractor?

The best way will be to take the fuel line off the carburetor or off the fuel pump, if so equiped, and put it lower than the fuel tank on the mower. Drain into a gas container. You can then put this gas in your vehicle to burn, rather than let it sit and go stale over the winter months.

If you are just taking the fuel out for the winter, and not for any other purpose, you can purchase some fuel stabilizer, called "Stabil", and put about 2 oz. per gallon of gas that's in your mower tank. Slosh it around a bit, start your mower and let it run, or take it for a spin around the yard to make sure you get the stabilizer mixed in well and down into your carburetor.

If you do drain the fuel for the winter, after you are done start your mowers engine and let it run the carburetor dry. That will keep it from evaporating too bad and gumming up your carb. Still a good idea to run some stabilizer thru the carb prior to draining the tank.
