An 8 bar flash indicates a controller fault. The computer controller is under the front cover of the power wheelchair. Check all the connections here and at the batteries. You may need to replace or have the controller rebuilt. Hope this helps.
Code 9: brake fault. Check motor connections and make sure that the levers are in the engaged position - if you can roll the chair the gearbox is not engaged.

Hi. Your machine probably has a fault, but I very much doubt that it needs reprogramming.
Are the free-wheel levers in the correct place? Is the machine displaying any fault codes, e.g. flashing LED's and what is the pattern or number of flashes between pauses?
Good luck. Neil.
1. make sure it's not still pluged in recharging.
2. make sure both free wheel levers are engaged.
if the jazzy is still flashing and not moving refer to the flash code in your owners manual. count the flashes between pauses. get back to me if you don't have the manual. Mike [email protected]
If your batteries are truly charge they should read around 24.5 VDC. And if the freewheel lever is engaged and you still have no movement your probably need to get into a service tech. Also check the circuit breaker on the chair.
