Hi, Keith sounds like a faulty wire connection for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere zero $ you can download another one. 2008 gsxr 600 is very slow to come back to idle and sometimes wont come back at all.

Hi
This sounds like a sticking throttle cable, you need to disconnect the cable and run some lube down it or replace the cable.

IF EVERYTHING ELSE IS OK, SOUNDS LIKE YOUR IGNITION SWITCH COULD BE GOING BAD.

2008 gsxr 600, gauges not working and head light not coming on. i checked all fuses and wires, unpluged batters for 10 min

if you can access the ignition switch wires, move the protective covering down the wires and take straight pin and push through the large red and brown wires. it wont shock you but dont short them to ground either, they are powered. now your lites and gauges should work. if they do then your ign sw. is bad.

Suzuki k6 turn signal and park light dont work .but head light and brake light still does

This is either a ground issue or 2 separate problems. Check the tail bulbs there should be 2 filaments in them unless they are LED. In the case that they are led Check the grounds and the fuses.

Where is the speedometer sensor at exactly omn a gsx r 600 05 ??

it's located on the front sprocket cover held on by a 4mm allen key bolt. if yor sensor is good, there is a part called the speed rotor that could be bad. the speed rotor is the plate on top of the front sprocket that sends the signal to the speed sensor.

Your sensor is out of position. It probably got bumped while removing or reinstalling the wheel. The pick up must be within a couple millimeters of the sensor, you will probably find the sensor on the inside diameter of one of your brake discs. Adjust the clearance and it will work again.
