SOURCE: gas tank
I'm pretty sure it does. I own a 1995 Vulcan and I bought a 2003 tank and looked at the mounting brackets and fuel connections all looked to be the same - but don't put this in stone. I haven't been able to put it on yet because it's still out being painted. There should be no difference in the fuel tank mounts from 1996-1005, but as always, check with a professional if this information is critical.

Sounds like a bad earth/ground - remove the lense covers and clean the bulb panel contacts also check the brake and indicator switches for rust on the contacts, Hope this helps

the fuse for the back light is located under the seat, its a little black box with a flip up lid. on the inside of the lid, it will show what fuse is for what componant and the amps..

well i would try the switch and see and if that doesnt work then check the wiring for a loose connection or ground or maybe it could be as ez as checking the light bulb it might be loose in the socket
