It sounds like a blocked fuel filter, or maybe a blocked or trapped fuel line.if the fuel lines are not trapped, then try useing a fuel line cleaner(red x ).

Just bought a 99 wide glide, rode it home last night and it was sputtering pretty bad after about 150 miles and it would die at low rpms and make a sucking or hissing noise. Only has 13,000 miles on it. It...

It sounds like a carburetor problem it won't run without the choke on. The bike has probably been sitting up for a good while. I'd be willing to bet that the jets in the carb are stopped up. When gasoline evaporates in the carb, it leaves behind a gummy mess that will stop up the jets. This is probably what is wrong with your bike. The carb needs to be completely disassembled and cleaned. Unless you're experienced in doing such a job, it's one that is best left to the pros.

Good Luck

07 Street Bob. At 9000 miles, the engine mounts are loose. Bike shakes badly at low RPMs. Is this common?

You have a torn engine mount, if your bike is still under warranty get it to your dealer asap!!!!! The same thing happened to my 08 Superglide, the dealer was quick to fix it as I had no idea as to why my bike was shaking so badly. Also check that your tank mounts are tight too..
Good luck!

Headlights brighten and dim when accelerating, 2003 Road King

Your heading for Stator problems 'ol son,...........
Before long, the engine is going to start coughing & spluttering, eventually it will stop. Let it sit awhile, if the battery in good shape, it might start again, but it won't last long before it stops again. Last time it happened to me, I was on an 800klm long highway, just on dusk, turned on the lights, (custom bike, actually has a headlight switch) got about 2ks & it died. Ever spent the night, freezing cold on a highway no one uses?

Engine dies after quad is warmed up (10-15 minutes)

Just a hunch, had this happen to a bike of mine years ago, could be the piston rings are gettting ready to go(wore down). What happens is when the quad is cold the rings expand tight into the cylinder walls allowing it to get full compression and run ok. When it heats up they shrink allowing the slightest amount of give which in turn will cause you problems similar to what your describing.
