Get the manual? Ask this question on tlzone.net? Umm when looking at the tank while it is on the bike' Look up to the spouts coming out of the bottom of the tank. The spout close to you is the fuel. The one close to the center of the tank is the overflow. The tube coming out which is lower than the rest of the conections is the main fuel.

Go to capitolcycle.com and go to their online store and look up your fuel tank as if you are buying another one...it will show you the fiche page and you can print it out...you can look up every single fiche page you need to find each hose and follow it to where it needs to go.

I have a 97 ford taurus and its a clunker. Im getting rid of it. It got a full tank and i would like to siphon it out and into my new car. I got a siphon kit and fed the tub all the way in till i wouldnt...

unfortunately most fuel tanks are made so you can no longer siphon gas through the fill tube. if you want the fuel that badly you could disconnect the fuel line from the fuel filter and wait for it to drip out.

I need to know how the fuel lines are hooked up in my ryobi gas trimmer. All of the fuel lines rotted out. I took them out and I need to know the correct connection sequences (what goes where).

line runs from little filter in tank to carb.
line from carb. to primer bulb
line from primre bulb back to gas tank.
lines are 2 sizes
need to cut at angle end of lines in tank so you can get them thru holes
and grab with needle nose plyers and pull them thru.
make sure you put the little filter on end before you pull line thru and leave
enough so filter can move around the whole tank.
second line in tank is smaller and need to cut and pull it thru hole in tank to primer bulb

I ran my gsxr 750 when i bought it and ran it home but it wont start now its not frozen it wants to turn over when i play with the choke whats do i need to fix it there was a half gallon of gas and water...

Why did you have water in the gas tank!? That's not good and you shouldn't drive it like that. I would take the tank off, and using the hose from the pitcock remove all that watered down gas. i would even clean out the carburetors with some cleaner after taking it off the engine and opening it up. When you put it together put new gas in it, and a bottle of Iso Heet which is gas treatment.

not that familiar w/Yamaha,but disconnected vacuum hoses may connect to fuel petcock at tank.I know Honda uses a system that only allows fuel to flow when vacuum is supplied.

GSF 600 SV 97 fuel problem

If the bike will run with the choke on then you have a lean fuel/air mixture condition. Most common cause is a vacuum leak or faulty pitcock. Spray some carb cleaner around the carb mounts with engine at idle, if the rpms change there is your leak.
Your petcock should have two hoses attached to it. One hose is the main flow to the carbs. The other hose is/should be a vacuum hose that allows the gas to flow (when vacuum is applied). When your petcock is in the PRI position, this will bypass the vacuum hose. Leaving it in PRI when motor off could possibly flood the engine. Check to see if that vacuum hose is attached properly with no splits or cracks near both joints. If all is attached properly your problem is the petcock itself. It has a diaphragm and 'return' spring. Weak return spring, clogged petcock, damaged diaphragm can all cause your problem. Also, after you recleaned and inspected the carbs, were they synched... if not, this needs to be done.
Good luck...i hope this helps..please rate me a fixya.
