I moved you, its not a car.
first off we have no idea what is in there now.
do NOT mix brands of antifreeze.
drain it an put in fresh spec, antifreeze .
then write down what you put in there and keep some on hand to top off about 1 time per year.
that is the correct way.
if it is still suzuki coolant then buy suzuki coolant.
ask them and buy it and use it.
then read the jug, is it 50% pre mix or not?
we dont know , but if premix add it.
if not mix it your self.
say 1 liter of water and 1 liter of pure AF. makes 50% in a 2 liter jug. (or use pints)
is this hard>? mixing 1/2 and 1/2?

if you add only water the 50% drops to 49 then 48 and then and then engine can overheat.
antifreeze is also anti boil.
best practice is keep it at 50% by adding 50% mix.
same on cars.

Hi I'm stephen adams from capetown south Africa I have a gsr750 2014 suzuki motorcycle I still have the pre mix coolant in the bike can I use tap water to top up the reservoir

Hi, Stephen tap water "NO" distilled water "YES" tap water has minerals and such that are not cooling system friendly also check your owners manual for service intervals for changing your coolant like everything else liquid it looses it's ability to do its job over a period of time and your engine will run hotter. Good luck and have a nice day.

I have a GSX-R 1100m. It keeps on blowing the no 1 plug. Can it be that the tank tap replacement is the problem?

Hi, Jan perhaps you need a new mechanic I find it ludicrous that GSX-R spark plugs are not available in South Africa for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. Where in south africa is hard water a problem

Most water in South Africa are considered hard. Water boiling pots and kettles are encrusted with calcium deposits on the inside, most of the underlying strata are rich in calcium deposits.
Even major water collection reservoirs filled with rain run off also collected calcium en route to storage facility.

Engine light and water temp light came on reservoirs are full what's up?

Hi Jeff, and the usual suspects are:
1. Low coolant level.
2. Restricted radiator air flow.
3. Faulty thermostat. See dealer.
4. Coolant pump or fans inoperative. See dealer.
5. Vent hose crimped.
6. Air in the coolant.

Loses water from resevoir but not from radiator

So the level keeps dropping in the reservoir? If you have to keep adding coolant to the reservoir, the system is leaking or losing coolant somewhere. Have the system pressure tested to find the leak. Is the reservoir itself leaking? When the level gets low enough, first the reservoir will go dry, then the radiator level will start to drop.
Here's how the reservoir works: coolant is under pressure from the radiator cap seal. As coolant heats up from hot engine, it expands, and pressure forces the radiator cap seal up, coolant is forced into the reservoir-remember the hot mark on the reservoir? When car is shut off, coolant contracts, creating a vacuum in top of radiator. This vacuum works to suction coolant back from reservoir into the radiator, keeping the radiator topped up, and coolant should now be at the lower cold mark on the reservoir. It is a closed, sealed system. The only loss of coolant will be a very small amount of evaporation from the reservoir. If coolant level keeps dropping, there is a leak somewhere.

How do i remove engine coolant cap on 2001 cadillac dhs

WAIT UNTIL YOUR ENGINE IS COLD,YOUR RADIATOR PRESSURE CAP IS LOCATED ON THE COOLANT OVER FLOW RESERVOIR, THATS WHERE YOU ADD COOLANT WHEN COOLANT LOW,YOU POUR COOLANT IN THE OVER FLOW RESERVOIR UNTIL COOLANT LEVEL REMAIN AT FULL COLD MARK DONT OVER FILL OVER FLOW RESERVOIR, WHEN COOLANT LEVEL STOP DROPPING WHEN ADDING COOLANT AND COOLANT LEVEL STAY AT COLD MARK ON THE RESERVOIR YOU RADIATOR HAS THE CORRECT COOLANT LEVEL IF COOLANT LEVEL KEEP DROPPING CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS AROUND RADIATOR AND THE TOP AND BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSES, LOOK FOR COOLANT LEAK AT WATER PUMP GASKET OR SEAL OR LEAK AT WATER PUMP WEEP HOLE IF YES REPLACE WATER PUMP.

I cannot seem to locate the radiator and where I can put water in. Someone help!

The radiator is that flat panel shaped object in the front-most center of the engine compartment. You don't add coolant and water directly into the radiator. On the right side of the engine compartment is a plastic overflow reservoir with a blue cap. That's where the coolant/water mix goes. Run the engine while adding coolant and water. There are fill marks on the reservoir indicating how much coolant/water mix is required. With the engine running, if the radiator is very low on coolant it will repeatedly draw fluid from the reservoir. Continue to add coolant/water mix until the situation stabilizes and the reservoir is filled to the high fill mark.
