In order to avoid leg clots, will a restrictive stocking help whilst in Flight.

Yes, compression stockings help to keep the blood vessels open. You can also take a small 75mg aspirin to help thin the blood the day before and a couple of hours before you fly. Also get up and walk every hour or so.

Just changed the wastegate actuator and now over boosts went from a 7 -12 psi do I change the solenoid or get a tune all of the car is stock

The wastegate has a direct effect on the amount of boost.
Also keep in mind that exhaust restrictions may be affecting it or there may be an adjustment for the wastegate arm. Some have an adjustment and some do not. An Exhaust shop can check your exhaust system for a restriction. Does the "On-Board Diagnostics" show a fault for this issue?
Some info about the vehicle may be helpful.

Error code 6A00

This error indicates a paper jam. Something is restricting the paper path. Check the paper path from the Automatic Sheet Feeder (ASF) side, raise the cover and visually check the paper path. Try running a thicker sheet of paper through the printer (card stock will work) to see if you can dislodge the restriction.
Let me know if this clears the problem. If not we can try something else. Thanks.

99 gsxr carbs running to rich, idle screw thinking is the problem how do i adjust>

Most if not all manuals will tell you not to touch this...probably for a good reason. BUT, theres a few rules to this, each carb has one, you turn it out until the bike stumbles, make sure you know the count. Then you turn it in until it stumbles, also making sure to count. Then you simply turn it in/out so that it is between those two points. Sounds easy doesn't it...but its not always straight forward. Are all the carbs running rich? it is just a couple? Because if you synchronize them you may fix your problem and have a faster/better running bike. Another thing to consider is what air restrictions you have. If your bike is bone stock, as in, no modifications of any kind to the air intake or the exhaust, it might just be a plugged up air filter, not allowing enough air to get through. Or if you went from a modified piece to a stock piece that is more restrictive, that could have the same effect. I hope this helps.

I have a stock 1989 600xr. I have noticed tha it has a flat spot in the carberation from off idle to full throttle. If I put the choke on this goes away. Temp is around 80 and alltitude is 4000 feet. I...

They often had a flat spot from new, once the restricters were removed.
and there was a performance jet kit at the time.
Stock would mean it has a very restrictive end cap in the muffler, it may not still be there after 20 years, most were removed in the first few days.

you could try raising the needle a notch or two, then maybe a larger main jet.

Make sure it has a good air cleaner first.
Take notes about changes made and improvements.
adjust one thing at a time
dyno jet will have a kit I imagine.

Common Problem, venting restrictions will cause a thermal fuse to blow, preventing the dryer from coming on. You need to figure out what your venting restriction is so that you won't have this happen again. Look for smashed venting behind the dryer,(usually from the dryer being pushed back to far), make sure you note how the venting accordions down when the dryer is pushed back), check for lint build up in the venting, look at the outside vent and make sure it is not blocked or a flap is not sticking shut. Note that some people put a nylon stocking over the end of a vent. This restricts the air very quickly as lint plugs the stocking almost immediately, so you cannot use these. Now to replace the thermal fuse, you need to unplug the dryer, remove the backing panel on the dryer, and look for a 2 inch long white fuse mounted on the duct housing. This is usually just to the left of the vent, and has two wires to this. Test for continuity and replace if there is no continuity. This should take care of the problem. There can be other causes but they are very rare. Let me know if there still is a problem. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Assuming everything is stock with no aftermarket add-ons, no carb issues, have you tried 1 1/4 turn from full in?

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
