SOURCE: Vacuum line not connected correctly

ok fuel fill lines are the 2 lines between carbs 1 n 2 and 3 n 4 toward the rear of the bike the 2 hoses coming out just in front of them are float bowl overflows that just get criss crossed over the carbs and ran thru the little holders on the frame. the only vacuum line is coming out of the side of carb 4, this line goes to the nipple on the petcock facing away from the knob. as for the fill lines the 1 between 1 n 2 goes to the nipple facing the rear of the bike and 3 n 4 goes to the 1 facing the front of the bike. hope this helps here is a link for a free service manual download. http://www.files.michaelmcmahon.org/1988-1997-GSX600-750-1100F-R.pdf try using www.katriders.com it is a lot more helpful than this site for katana issues.

you can tig weld the seams,or crack .and can be fixed without dissasembly by a good tig welder. but before you do drain any and all fluids in this area. so you don't start a high temp fire inside or outside.

SOURCE: how to hook up vacuum lines on a 1988 suzuki katana 600

You must hook them on each niple has each carburator right before it's cylinder head's collar that is plugged on. One of them has the vacuum hose that goes to your fuel switch, pull it out and put the switch to PRI position or feed the carburators externaly. The other nipples are plugged with blind plugs which you remove to plug the vacuum hoses and then replace them back on.

SOURCE: Can I get fuel and vacuum line diagram for a 1989 Suzuki katana 750f? Thank you email is danlco19891@gmail.com

Im pretty sure the two bigger pipes are the fuel pipes and they go from either side of the fuel tap to the carbs one is on and one is reserve.then the smaller pipe goes on the fuel tap to the smallest outlet and then goes to the top of the 3rd carb diaphragm cap.if it's the same as what we call a gsx750f in the UK.

Spark plugs question

DR8ES is the stock plug for your bike. The heat range is the same on both plugs, The "A" designates a special tip construction. The "S" designates standard tip construction. Bottom line is The DR8EA is a higher priced plug and it will work fine.
Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?
