Question about Yamaha Motorcycles
This is my baby and this will be the first time we've had to work on the quad in 10 years, aside from regular maintenance.
Blasters have a tendency to overheat, could've seized the top end. Hopefully that's all it is.

If she over reved it , you may have damaged the crank , this I suspect is why u cant kick it over , what id start with is the drive chain (or is it a shaft?) cover , what ur trying to do is get it move slightly backwards to take strain off kick start , u may need to remove spark plug to unload any cyl pressures as well , if after unloading pressure off the kick strt and then it begins to rotate freely , hold finger over sprk plug hole to ck for compression as u rotate it slowly with kick start , if engine doesn't unlock or have compression then im afraid its a tear down to look better at damage
