No, But that shaft sounds like the transmission input shaft and the means a trans tear down. You must have been laying some major torque on that puppy. Well, could have been a flaw too. You can tell by looking at the break. Anyway, hump it to the transman.

How to take the pump off the motor?

Take the screws off the outer cover fo the wet end. That will expose the impeller.
At the other end of the pump is a small metal cap in the middle. Pry that off with a screwdriver. That reveals the shaft of the motor which has a slot in it. This allows you to hold the shaft still with a large screwdriver.
While someone holds the shaft with a big screwdriver, you rotate the impeller counter clockwise to unscrew it off the motor shaft.
In my case the impeller was so caked onto the shaft with rust that we could not loosen it. We broke the impeller and still could not unscrew it. The screwdriver keeps jumping out of the slot in the shaft.
So the next step was to take the shaft out of the motor. On the far end of the motor are 4 small looking bolt heads. Undo those. They go right through the motor into the 4 legs of the wet end.
Stand the motor up with the wet end up. Pull hard to pull the wet end motor cover off the motor and you will then have the wet end and armature of the motor in your hands. Heavy.
Place some wood into a large vice and then grip the big silver part of the armature in the vice. Then unscrew the impeller.

I just did this.

I got this far tonight and the bearing at the wet end is hard to turn and is the reason for the failure of the pump. I am not sure of the bearing can be pulled off without special equipment.

I have- starite pump it was working fine last night but this morning there was no pressure at all i wonder if is the water tank the pump is running fine but there is no water

It sounds like you have blown your shaft-seal. When this happens the pump runs dry. If you know that you have water but it will not pump, and all the cover and housing o-rings are good, it is the shaft seal. (unless the internal impeller is just broke, but this is unlikely)
Fix: Turn off power. Remove V-clamp holding wet end together. Remove diffuser inside wet end (need flathead screwdriver).
next remove rear electrical panel on the motor. Using s 7/16" wrend, hold the end of the motor shaft by the electrical end (where you removed the cover) while turning the impeller counter clockwise (note: some impellers have an impeller screw inside which unthreads CLOCKWISE) untill impeller is off. Replace carbon shaft seal inside. Reverse and prime and then restore power and start.

Sum think rong with cluch chuck not turning motor is running

sounds like a strpped gear or broken shaft. look in the gearbox where the motor shaft goes into the gearbox. if that is ok go to the where the chuck spindle comes out of the gearbox.

I believe what you need to do is remove the 3 screws on the trimmer head to remove the head from the lower shaft. After the head is off you can look down into where the shaft goes and be able to use some needlenose pliers or something of the sort to pull the broken part out.<!-- from fixya rte -->

the "cluch push rod" should be pushed back by the cluch springs, if there was a bearing on the end it would have broken up and be laying inside the cluch case in bits! if you have taken the cluch to bits there is a thrust washer behind the cluch body and gear box shaft if you left this washer out you wont have a cluch? best bet is get a hayns service book for your bike maybe off e-bay and you will have all the info you need to fix it plus all the photos as well of all the parts

My Dremel tool motor still works but shaft won't turn?

Here's the email from I got from Dremel (in my case the flex coupling broke):
Inside the tool is a flex coupling and spline driver.

The flex coupling is # 2615294309 and the price is $ 1.25.
This is the hollow plastic sleeve about 1" long with grooves on the
inside, that goes between the motor shaft and the output shaft.

The spline driver is # 2615294308 at $ 1.00.
Spline driver sits on the direct end of the motor shaft. The flex
coupling sits over the spline driver. Spline driver is about 1/4",
hard plastic with grooves on the outside.

Looking for a part for my Jenn-Air electric motor

I broke the same part when trying to manually turn the shaft on a stuck motor. That part is made out of pot/white metal. Mine broke at the base where it slides onto the half round shaft on the motor. I was able to fix it by drilling a small hole in the half round shaft on the motor and the broken piece. Then I used a small finish nail as a pin to hold the two parts together. Next time I take it apart, I will use some JB Weld epoxy on it. I don't think you'll find that piece by itself. I might just tinker on my metal lathe and make one up, but looking on ebay is probably your best bet for the whole motor.
