Clean the carbs, and adjust the idle RPM up just a tad. Ask the dealer what the idle speed should be.

Hi 04 kia sedona 2.9 will not start unless you use easy start then it turns of over a lot before the engine it will start. once running the engine is ok this happens hot or cold.

I would start by pulling a spark plug and seeing if it is fouled. If all plugs are good, check for a clogged air filter or improperly functioning throttle body. Remove the air intake assembly and have someone press the accelerator with the keys in the ACC position. When the accelerator is fully depressed, the throttle plate should open to almost 90 degrees, when the pedal is released, it should close very quickly. If it doesn't, your throttle body will need to be replaced.

Check for crushed wires in the handlebars, is the clutch lever loose to move up and down, or perhaps the throttle grip loose? Are the wires on both sides of the handlebars aligned with the dimples? If it is happening when you shift, the clutch is being pulled and the throttle is being rotated, so it could be either side.

Engine revs but nothing happens

Replace the clutch plates or adjust the clutch cable. Try the clutch cable first. What you have is a slipping clutch. It could be that the clutch cable is too tight and so the plates aren't mating fully when you release the lever, or it could be that the plates are worn out. But as it is getting worse it is most likely to be the clutch plates are worn.

Gs 450 dies when clutch is released

Hi, Winston and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery should have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
2. Failed alternator/generator and or voltage regulator.
3. Loose or corroded battery terminals and or cables especially the "NEGATIVE" cable, look for loose, corroded, or broken connectors inside the cable harness at "BOTH" ends.
4. Failed main circuit breaker or ignition switch, check for loose connections and continuity.
5. Failed system and or ignition relay, check for continuity.
6. Failed ignition coil, stator, magneto, ignition/electronic module.
7. Failed CKP, CPS, CMP, MAP, TPS, or BAS sensor, corroded, loose or broken wire connector pins/sockets.
8. Throttle cables and or idle speed improperly adjusted hot idle speed should be 950 RPM to 1000 RPM.
9. Faulty neutral, side stand or clutch lever safety switch.
10. Air/fuel mixture screw improperly adjusted.
11. Accelerator pump damaged or not working.
12. Water or dirt in the fuel system, carburetor or filter.
13. Restricted, blocked or kinked fuel line.
14. Fuel tank empty.
15. The gas cap is not venting properly or fuel tank venting system blocked.
16. A failed fuel pump, pressure regulator and or fuel injectors.
17. Vacuum line from intake manifold to petcock broken, cracked, or not attached, carburetor vent line plugged.
18. Needle and seat stuck closed in the float bowl.
19. Lean angle switch is faulty or needs adjustment.

I have a Syma s032 that had its motors brushes distroyed in few flights. How to avoid premature wear? Is there another kind of motor that can be used on it? Thanks

You need to quickly throttle (left joystick) all the way down whenever you're about to crash or blade strike. Both motors have clutch to spin freely when in neutral. They will bounce off of anything if they can, i.e. if your hand isn't still pegging the throttle. But, if the blade (or blades) hit something that stops them while throttle is still being applied, one of three things will happen.
1) Blade will stop abruptly, putting grossly abnormal strain on the motor and those tiny little brushes inside. Motor may burn out. Every fraction of a second that throttle is being applied while blades cannot move, irreparable damage is almost certainly being done to the motor(s).
2) Blade(s) will break, maybe taking gears or shaft along for the ride.
3) or sometimes nothing seems to have happened, bird clunks to ground, you right it and continue flying.

however, if you throttle fully down, the motors engage clutches automatically and are effectively in neutral, spinning freely allowing the blades to bounce harmlessly off of whatever.

Throttle down when accident nears, and your motors will last for ages.

Hope this helps,
r

the seat switch is the problem. the switch itself could be bad, but usually theproblem is that the connector is just not plugged in all the way [by the way, trying to bypass the switch by inserting the wire doesn't work because there is a "switch" inside the connector to prevent you from doing just what you did]

Stalls out when braking quickly, worse with going down hill

Assuming that the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, it looks like the torque converter lock-up system doesn't release as fast as it should, so if you brake hard, the converter is still locked up and your wheel brakes stall your engine (just like pressing ******* the brakes with the clutch pedal released on a manual transmission vehicle). Normally, when you brake hard, the lock-up should release and prevent the stall from happening. Might be a bad torque converter, or a bad lock up solenoid in the transmission... Before jumping to anything else, i'd try checking the fluid level in the transmission and an oil/filter change in the transmission. Lots of times one or the other can cure the problem.
