Warning lights I have a suzuki vx800 cruiser. Red warning light in the middle of the console with japanese lettering comes on when I go over 80km/h.

any time a warning light comes on there is a problem that needs to be checked out. you don`t say what warning light comes on, oil light, check engine light, coolant light.

sounds like a speed warning light as fitted to japenese market bikes...this would mean that you've got an unofficial import...

Sounds like the engine management light, it can be a lot of things why it's come on but don't panic, you need a car code reader to plug into the car to tell you the code of what the problem is , sometimes the fuel cap not being closed properly is very common but you need a car code reader .

If the cylinders that wont fire are 1 & 4 or 2 & 3, then it would be an electrical/ignition problem. Check the ignition coil, wiring, connectors, CDI and pulser coil. On the other hand, if the cylinders that won't fire are 1 & 2 or 3 & 4, then it would be a carb issue. Determine if fuel is reaching and filling the bowls of the carbs by loosening the drain screws of each card. Note the amount and quality of fuel. Alternately, a carb pulldown, cleaning, soaking maybe required.

The red speed light would lit up on 80 KPH is normal. This is prescribed by Japanese law since presumably your bike is a JDM (Japan Domestic Model). If no restrictors are installed, then either remove the bulb or ignore it.

The triangle with an exclaimation mark in the middle is the Master Warning Light . I havn't had time to check out exactly what it is but is is covered in the service reminders part of the owners manual. Google " 2005 prius warning lights . In the first result , you will find a link to toyotapartsandservice.com where you will find owners manual's etc. ( in english )

Anti theft device malfunction.

this could be down to the need of more power from your plug as when i use my power convertor it needs to be on high rather then low otherwise teh console doesnt power up
