Question about 2005 Honda CG 150 Titan ESD

My 2007 Tank scooter starts to ''stall'' or not gain speed when I full throttle. It was driving fine for mile or two when it just started happening. I checked hoses and wires and everything looks perfect. Whats wrong??

O.K. Are you at all familiar with the "Tank" model scooter?? Its a 150 cc. engine. I just purchased it and it ran fine for 15 miles. All of a sudden, it now starts to stall when I apply full throttle. I can try to clean or drain the carb. It does run fine when Im going 10 mph or lower, its when I try to go fast, it "bogs" down.

Is their a drain bolt at the bottom of the carb. on this??

The following link is to the scooter I have. Tank touring 150cc.

Any more help would be appreciated!! Thanks, Mike.

Sounds like water in the carb
Undo drain bolt at bottom of carb, infact take it out as water doesnt want to come out as easily as petrol.
Either that or not enough petrol going to carb could be due to a hole in the vacuum tube from the fuel tap

There doesnt seem to be a drain bolt on that model but the carb bowl can be removed using the large hex cast into the bottom (of the bowl). Take care as the problem could also be a loose jet & this may fall out

I have a 96 f150 5.8 4x4. Starts fine and runs fine, but when I start it after a 5-10 minute stop (when its warm), it will start fine but then die after a minute or so. It starts right back up and I hold...

Common issue on this year and engine, Do the cleaning outlined below.

Throttle Body Cleaning

You can in most cases repair this slow speed stall or unstable idle by cleaning the engine throttle valve and the idle speed control valve using a product called CRC Spray Throttle valve cleaner. Spray the cleaner into the air intake of the engine with the hose removed from the throttle body, the engine will try to stall so hold up the idle speed manually. Once you have used up about 1/2 can of the cleaner stall the engine out while spraying and turn the key off, disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minutes and then reconnect and drive the car for a about 25 miles of varied driving modes. If this doesn't cure the problem you may need the fuel injectors professionally cleaned by the dealer service dept.

Engine stalls with 1/2 tank of gas. SStarts with tank filled. Always happens within 1/2 mile of a cold start. Has happend 10+ times. never happens if tank over haolf full, but maikes me stop for gas...

I would say that the connection is the weight of the fuel, which is pressure, making the carburettor float level slightly higher or there is a blockage in the fuel feed and it takes the pressure of the fuel to push it through.
Hope that helps.

My honda activa doesnt have pick up. when i keep in choke it runs properly otherwise. i had given it for servicing they replaced airfilter but still it is not working properly

What your doing with that sissy queen bike, get a rat rod bobber or a 5150 hard knock

does your scooter makes a loud noise, then stalls when I'm riding it. What's happening?

You're flooding the engine out. Read the manual and break it in before doing full throttle runs. After the scooter has been properly broken in, you can accelerate to the speed you wish to ride, then back off of the throttle to maintain the speed. If you hold the throttle wide-open, it will flood the engine and stall the scooter which may cause damage.
