To display what is wrong: turn off the ignition, press and hold the "A" button and turn the ignition back on. Than release the "A" button. The main display now shows "EFI", and the smaller display shows the error code.

Hi, Derekfisher1 for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. Hey, My hyundai tucson 2006 2.0 crdi 6speed , the eobd lamp blinks , what could this be ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EOBD

EOBD is a European version of the OBD-II system found on North American cars.

Have the car scanned for codes to see what system has triggered the light.

Good luck on this repair.

Hyundai Matrix will not start when damp EOBD codes P-1801 and P-1805

Yes... it's the immobilizer system p1805: Inconsistent data of EEPROM Invalid write operation to EEPROM Not plausible immobilizer indicator stored in the ECM No valid data from SMARTRA after 3 attempts by ECM Invalid tester message or unexpected requests by testerGo to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register.
