How to recover data from a bad HDD

<p>If a hard drive clicks and the information starts to move through them very slowly when it opens is stored, you need to store data as soon as possible. It's just a matter of time before the hard disk stops working completely. You can try everything from the freezer to remove the device, because the drives read better in colder temperatures. <br /> <p><br /> <p>1. How to fix a bad hard drive.

If you have a hard drive that crashed and can't live with the thought of starting over .. there is one last thing you can do to get your info from the disk!!

FREEZE IT... YES.. i said to put your comp. hard drive in the freezer...

First you need a ESD bag (antistatic bag) You are going to need a new hard drive anyways. When you get your new hard drive. it will come with a ESD bag over it..

Put the old hard drive in the bag...
Put the new drive in your comp.
Put the hard drive in the freezer over night..
24hours in the freezer = about 30mins run time... might get more time out of it if you freeze it longer but ... you will just have to test it

put the hard drive in and test it... if it works ( like it should ) you can use the old hard drive as a backup and keep freezing it to get the info off.

How do you open it to clean out bag?

Hold on to the lip above where the hose attaches to it and lift up. It is a bit hard at first but that is how you open it.

Air bag light on my 1999 audi a4 quattro 2.8l. Any suggestions?

Most likely the driver's seat bag. When the seat is moved too far (or someone flops down into it too hard) it can jar the connector under the seat and cause it to open momentarily. Look under the front of the seat - it's the yellow connector. I ziptied mine, then turned the light off (you need vagcom to do this), and haven't had a problem since.

Renaissance C104A does not turn on. I plugged it in and it does not work.

The Renny is a hard machine to diagnose. You could have a broken wire in the cord or in the hose. There is a fuse wire located inside the canister that could be bad. Also, the handle circuit board could be bad or the triac (another circuit board) located inside the canister could be bad. There is no use for you to open the machine. You could do more damage than good.

Instrument Panel Codes??

Yes, it's called a lamp fault code.

9 is not familiar to me. Call dealer service department and ask them what code means.

Here are codes for a 94 Aerostar. I don't have 91 Sable. Sorry.

Lid won't close

You might have the vacuum bag in incorrectly. Pull your vacuum bag all the way out, and check the cardboard for arrows (as some bags are cut to go in one way, and one way only). If your vacuum has a cartridge that the vacuum bag goes into, make sure that this is seated completely, securely, and correctly. After you have checked all of this, seat your lid meaning make sure it is going to sit correctly on the housing, then as you are closing the lid, check the latch as it begins to close - making sure that the male and female portions are going to match up. You may have to give it a little pressure, but should not have to put enough pressure to break anything. Good luck.

Looking for sportster hard saddle bag installation instructions

nstructions Difficulty: Moderate Things You’ll Need: Step1 Determine what type of saddlebags you will be installing on your motorcycle. Saddlebags come in hard and soft styles, with each installed in basically the same manner. Hard bags tend to offer more security for your items but are a bit on the bulky side, while soft bags offering a little more flexibility. Step2 Check to make sure that your fender bolt area is clean and prepped for installation of your saddlebags. Both hard and soft saddlebags on Harley Davidsons are installed over the fender bolt area on the rear of the motorcycle, so clearing this area of debris and grime will keep it free of scratches and blemishes. Step3 Install any spacers or lifting brackets before you try and place your bags on your Harley Davidson. These spacers will keep you bags from resting against your exhaust pipes and will avoid damage to your motorcycle and to the bags themselves. Make sure they are installed tightly and spaced properly before mounting your bags. Step4 Open the saddle bag packaging and lay out the included hardware. The hardware will be necessary to properly mount your saddlebags to your fenders, so be sure that you do not misplace it. If your saddle bag comes with a fender mounting bracket, install it along the fender before proceeding. This bracket will be used to hold and stabilize your saddlebags, so it is essential that it is properly tightened and installed. Step5 Hold your saddle bag up to the fender and align the bolt holes in the saddle bag with the bolt area on the fender. Your saddle bag will have mounting holes in the side of the bag that will align with the mounting bracket. Place one of the bolts in the hole and tighten to hold it on. Put the remaining bolt in place and tighten them both securely once they are aligned correctly. Step6 Repeat this process with the remaining saddle bag. The bags should align evenly and be attached straight to avoid any imbalances or shifting while the motorcycle is in motion. Try and wiggle or move the bags to be sure your bolts are tight enough to prevent movement. Step7 Take your Harley Davidson for a short ride. Stop and check the fitting on your saddlebags and look at your bolts. Make sure nothing has moved during your ride and that all of your fittings remain tight. With just a bit of effort, your new saddlebags will make your Harley Davidson the envy of the neighborhood.
