Question about 1992 kawasaki GT 750
Hi great site i may be able to get some help me beleives with me rat...two probs.
A: took the exhaust off to have it cut down and now i can not put it back on as 3 of the exhaust colletts are rusted away, is there an easy way to make some up or buy them cheapley.
B: when choke pulled out the engine races to like 2000 revs, not good with the cold engine or neibours...chears buds..
On this vintage bike you may find your exhaust parts in a bike salvage yard. As for as the choke and engine revving this is typical of this choke design. My suggestion is get quieter pipes if your worried about neighbors... If your one of mine I'll let you know about it! LOL! Seriosly though I do not recall and adjustment that would allow you to not have so many rev's I know all my old carbbed bikes did the same thing, only thing to do is slow it down aquickly as possible or don't use full choke. My new bikes are all injected so no more choke...Possibly upgrade....
