Use only premium gas . Don't burn any gas that has Ethanol, it is very corrosive. The brand of gas doesn't really matter, only the price does.

NO...Engine oil is also the transmission oil. This bike has what is called a wet system which means that the clutches are lubed by the engine oil. Be sure to use a good quality oil and change often depending on how you ride.
there is a oil window by your rear brake pedal pick the bike up right, oil should be 1/2 to 3/4 full of oil. otherwise i think check the chain might be to loose or tight or just finished

... Do you mean check the shift shaft? (the shift fork(s) are inside the engine and cannot be checked without splitting the cases). the shift shaft may be bent...reply back..
