Anon, You really should look in your manual or contact manufacturer to find what is considered normal oil consumption. I have never owned a Peugeot, but have had numerous other makes, mostly domestics to USA and Canada and never had to add oil between changes at approx. 5000 Km.s before oil changes.

Where is the rear heater screen relay in a 2005 peugeot 307 1.6 110 hdi 5 door hatch

Sounds like a blown fuse...Check your fuse block for the rear window defroster...If it is OK, it might be that the leads to the window defroster have been broken by many openings and closings of the rear hatch.

What causes erratic hatch opening and closing?

Hi Robin, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

Robin, it sounds like you have something binding in the motor assembly. You see anything that catches and causes a restriction in the movement of the door closing are opening will cause the door to reverse. If you see anything touching the door or the props that hold the door open move the obstruction and it should work properly. If you do not see anything, then the most likely cause is the gear and motor assembly. Hope this helps and please visit my auto-repair-website here: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/

How to find powe steerig reservor peugeot 27

There isn't one, its electric power steering on that model . If the steering has got heavy check the appropriate fuse to make sure that hasn't blown, they should be listed in your handbook. If it has, replace it but keep an eye on it as fuses don't normally blow for nothing. If it hasn't blown then the motor has probably burnt out but that normally blows the fuse.

Just bought a1990 toyota 5 door hatch, and drove it 100km to get home only to find large oil leak under car . oil is a little redish in colour, any thoughts on this problem because the car ran beutifly...

That's a sign of a leaking transmission.
It could be that the car was sitting for a long time and the transmission seals dried up and shrunk.
Try an after market transmission fluid additive that seals up the seals.
I think Lucas makes a good one that's available at your local wall mart or auto parts store.

Gears stick

If your car is a manual gear change, your clutch may need adjusting or repair or the gearbox oil may need changing.
If your car is an auto check to see if you are using the correct transmission fluid , Peugeot autos do not use normal ATF and will fail if the correct fluid is not used.
Hope this helps Marshall

Ticking in the motor

Sounds like you have a lifter that is sticking. Purchase a can of Seafoam Motor Treatment at Advance Auto Parts, Walmart, and many other suppliers. I have used this product many times and it is fantastic. This is not a motor treatment such as some of the others you see advertised to improve mileage or stop oil burning. This is a legit product that many mechanics trust. To clean lifters, add 1½ oz. Sea Foam to each quart of oil. Sea Foam will slowly re-liquefy the old oil varnish residue that builds up on lifters and prevents them from functioning normally. This process can be done as part of a pre service cleaning by adding the Sea Foam to the oil at least 30 miles before the next oil change interval. OR it can be done as a preventative maintenance process without changing the oil. You can leave Sea Foam in the oil indefinitely as long as the oil is clean. The addition of a high-detergent oil like Sea Foam may cause the oil to become dirty faster than normal as buildup oil residue and contamination are cleaned. Check the oil at regular intervals and when it gets dirty, change it. http://www.seafoamsales.com/how-to-use-sea-foam-motor-treatment.html
