SOURCE: How well does the Suzuki 1400 cc Intruder handle?

The Intruder does handle fairly well compared to its' counterparts of the cruiser class, by handling I would assume your talking about how well it behaves in turns...since this class of machine IS the cruiser type do not expect to keep up with the current or past generations of sportbikes as you will fall behind. The best scenario is SMOOTH sweeping turns, the suspension in its' current form cannot deal with irregularities in the road...sportbikes' suspensions are meticulously calibrated for these real world curcumstances...cruisers cannot do this. The raked out front forks of cruisers make for a very stable platform but are not designed to be turned hard. A simple modification that I would myself do if I had a cruiser, would be the addition of a fork brace...a chunk of aluminum that strengthens the two front fork tubes..so that they don't flex (As much!). In addition I would pay attention to the exaust setup, footpegs and any other hard parts that would interfere with agressive cornering(Lean angle). Some exausts hang SO far down on cruisers that they really limit how far you can bend er over...all that stuff needs to be removed, changed or modified so you can corner good up to the suspensions limit.

SOURCE: what battery fits 1995 suzuki intruder 400cc ***

Your best bet is to go to a Suzuki shop and get one there. That way you know for sure you have the right battery and that it will fit your bike.

SOURCE: Crankcase capacity on 2002 Suzuki VS 800

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic lubricants, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell. If in a hot area like Texas or New Mexico go with 20w50.

I don't have a service manual on your particular bike so just check oil quantity with the dealer when you go to buy the new oil filter. Don't forget to lube the cables and chain when doing the oil change.

You may need your air filters changed and carbs adjusted. Aso this bike has sort of an afterburner unit which pops off unburned fuel in the exhaust. Some guys remove it and plug the lines.

Whats the best oil to use in my 1996 suzuki intruder 1400..also what do think of using royal purple max cycle?

Asking about what the best oil to use is liking asking about religion. Everybody has their own opinion. For your Suzuki just use a good quality motor oil that is designed to operate in air cooled engines. If you change your oil on a regular basis (3000 miles) and change the oil filter with every oil change do not spend a lot of extra money on a supreme oil. You will just be throwing away good money that could be used for fuel to take longer rides.

How much oil is needed to do an oil and filter change on a 1986 Suzuki Intruder

Fill the filter with oil (but do not overfill it) and in stall it. The capacity of the crankcase is stamped on the oil filler hole in CC. there are 946cc in one US quart.

Hope this helps,
