Kia sorento 2004 3.5 oil pressure switch location?

2004 3.5L v6 oil pressure switch is under the passenger side of the engine behind the oil filter.

Easiest to get to from under the engine. To find it, take off the right front wheel, then the front plastic access cover that is part of the inner fender, behind the right front wheel. You will see the oil ??? filter. The switch is behind the oil filter.

What are some things to check when the hydraulic jacks will not come down on 2014 Thor Challenger?

You did not specify if your hydraulic motor would run or not..
did they work last week?
what kind of jack system?
you need power to control panel to send power to relays on hydraulic pump.
If pump is running when button switched. Then perhaps loose wire or defective valve.
if pump is running and oil sprays all over then you have a bad hose.

Just need to know where the drain plug is on 2003 1200 sportster-friend lost her manual

For the oil? On the oil tank you will see tubes coming off the bottom of the tank, there is two one to the motor and one will drop almost straight down. follow the tube and you will see the plug. most times it will sit right behind the tranny on the rh side of the bike. don't worry about the motor holds little oil and the tranny is separate and holds its own oil.

My 2005 Avensis sedan front windscreen washer does not work - wipers do still opperate. Where is the fuse for this located and what else could cause this problem?

What is the best engine oil for a C200 Kompressor model 2003?and why?

The best engine oil for your car is what is specified in the owner's manual. There should also be writing on the top of the oil fill cap saying what kind of oil is needed. This type of oil is specified because that is what Mercedes designed the motor to use.

I have a john deere 316, the other day i was moving snow with it and all of the sudden it lost all power to the hydrostatic and to the front end quick attach. I was wonder what would cause this and how to...

First check level of hydraulic oil. Sight plastic tube just above and to the right of the hitch. Should be in the middle of the tube.

How long since you changed the hydrostatic oil filter under the seat deck?

Next see if the small splined shaft is turning btween the seat deck and the transaxle from the rear of the tractor. If not, it sheered a key in the hydrostatic drive shaft from the motor to the drive. (Had this happen to me)

Check the lever under the right side fender that disables the hydrostatic transmission to allow the tractor to to be moved without dragging the wheels. Make sure its not in the wrong position.

If all these are ok then the hydrostatic pump has failed.

My 04 sportster 883 is a converted 1200, seems to leak a quite a bit of oil from the vent tube on the left side of the bike. I get oil residue on my rear rim, belt guard, and unsightly drips and residue...

Unless Harley has changed something, I'm not familiar with a vent tube on the left side of a Sportster. I've always seen the vent tube coming out of the cam chest on the right side of the bike. Even the transmission vent came up and over to just behind the oil tank.

On your Sportster, make sure that you're not overfilling the oil tank. There are two lines on the dipstick. When checking your oil, the top line is 'FULL HOT" and the lower line is 'FULL COLD". Keep the level between the two lines when hot. As long as you can see oil on the dipstick, ride the bike far enough to heat up the oil and then check the level.

Otherwise, trace the hose back to it's source and tell me exactly where it comes from.

Good Luck

Clutch fluid. i use coastal brand clutch fluid. is this kind the recommended type or is their something much better?

Most hydraulic clutch systems use Dot 3 brake fluid. Call a dealer and ask for the parts dept., they can tell you if there is a specific brand for your car.

Does 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 have hydraulic lifters? I posted a question a few days ago regarding engine loud ticking which sounds like lifter noise. It doesn't have that deep sounding knock. I went to...

I would not believe any thing some parts store loser told you. Theres not a V8 built that doesnt have hydraulic lifters, unless its some fancy racin engine. It has hydraulic lifters, but unless you dont change your oil every 5k miles and/or use some cheap oil, there should be no problems. You should have a real mechanic look at it, and verify that you have good oil pressure. If it does, I would change the oil and use some MOBIL 1 and drive it, the oil will clean the lifters somewhat. If the eng has low oil pressure, that will need to be addressed.
