Front left headlight assembly was broke replaced it. the left front blinker is not working the rear blinks very fast all bulbs are new

Hi The blinker needs rewiring some how the existing cable must have been crushed or damaged either when your headlight broke or damaged it may be as simple as the earth wire on the headlight is also the same earth wire for you left front blinker. Please leave me feed back: Malcolm Campbell, Thanks.

97 Cadillac Delegance Front end noise , dissapears when going into right hand turn then returns when straightening out. Tires recently rotated and balanced , tire that was on right front had wear pattern...

I would be checking out the wheel bearings for the problem. I would also be checking the front suspension for worn ball joints and steering end joints. Tyre wear patterns indicate unbalance-wheel alignment-shock absorbers and front end wear. I refuse to rotate tyres for several reasons Radial tyres when developing a wear pattern will retain that wear pattern even if placed on a trailer--Wear patterns show a fault for that wheel and tells which wheel and what needs to be done to repair it and lastly tyres wear in pairs so if you have a front wheel drive car why replace 4 tyres when the need is to replace only 2 front ones. Saves about 50% of the cost of tyres. The rotation theory came about from cross ply tyres and does not apply to radials except for tyre dealers profits

I have all relevant diagrams and wires for my tow bar but dont know where to connect wires or what wires too connect my towbar wires too, can any1 help me. its an almera

Hi There it may be easier to trace the required wire from each light cluster and splice in the towbar electrics rather than follow a hand book wiring diagram ie; pin 1 Yellow L/H direction indicator. go to left hand cluster and locate left hand indicator wire, stip back the tape binding enough so that you have enough to play with and then splice in the Yellow towbar wire and continue onto the next wire on the list. Good luck

Flashing light with ? in the middle.service light on at all times. two front wheels flashing

The indication of the two front wheels flashing is most likely the tyre pressure monitoring system try adding the proper amount of air pressure in the tyres, also never change your tyres around this can also cause the problem or the sensors might have just become faulty.

The car, no matter what speed, will **** real hard right to left like something in the front end suspension is broke

couple possibilites.

Contol arm ball joint
tie rod ball joint
(really low air pressure in tire (unlikely))

pretty well all the options... ball joints are "fun" to relace... usually involves a big hammer! :-)

I have a front end knocking on the drivers side tire area. It is consistent and increases with RPM.

hi, this could be down to a couple of things try driving over a bumpy road if the noise is then more often then the chances are the bottom ball joint has gone and will need replacing if it makes no difference then it could be the track rod end needs replacing, if the noise gets louder then it could also be the anti roll bar bushes gone.
Each of these would need checking you can do this by putting the car on axle stands then get a strong mettle bar (crow bar or bigger ) then put this under the tyre and work it up and down, get some one else to do this you need to do it quite hard then look at the bottom ball joint and see if their is any movement their should be none.
If their is no movement then you need to get hold of the tyre from left to right then try turning the tyre by hand quikly left and right if their is any play then this would indicate track rod end gone.
If their is no play their either then this would point towards the roll bar bushes gone.

Its always best to replace both sides at the same time but get this looked at sooner rather than later as it could mean you having nasty accident if any of these parts broke off due to the play in them, this would mean the car been unable to move and would cause alot of damage to other parts of the car such as the wing, inner wing, wheel bearing etc.

If your doing the work yourself then make sure you get a workshop manual as it isnt the easiest of jobs to do.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

After unlocking or opening door, lights flash for 2 minutes regardless of starting vehicle with correct key

Brian,

Sounds like you have a factory, or aftermarket alarm system that was disconnected from the siren at some point. I am guessing it is aftermarket based on the fact that it will not disarm even if the correct key is used. If it is an after market alarm your problem is relatively simple to fix. Most after marke alarms are typically installed to the indicators by connecting the wires from the alarm into the cars factory fuse box. Locate the fuse box in your vehicles cabin and find look for any electrical wires that go into the fuse box from the front (WITHOUT REMOVING THE FUSE BOX). remove these wires or just the one going to your indicators, headlights, or whichever lights are flashing. The factory never connects wires to the fuse box from the front, so these wires should be obvious.
