The carburetor has 2 adjustment screws. One for idle and one for high rpm. They have weird heads on them to keep you from adjusting them without purchasing the proper adjustment tool. Look on ebay for carburetor adjustment tools for your particular blower. After you get the too, you can start the blower and make your adjustments. First one screw at idle, then the other while holding the trigger on full. The best way is to first turn the screws all the way to the right (closing the jet) then turn them back to the left 2 1/2 turns. This can be done prior to starting the blower. Then adjust accordingly until the blower runs at the best speed for the idle then at high rpm. You'll notice that the rpm's drop if you go too far either way. If you screw it up, go back to closing the jets all the way to the right, then open them back up to the left 2 1/2 turns. Good luck!
screw air mix screws in the out like a half turn each, one controls the high end speed and one controls the idle, do idle first and adjust just a little rich then do high speed screw.
All carburetors have 3 screws high and low and idle, then screw high and low all the way in, then turn them back 1 and half that should be factory settings go from there. start with the high idle back it out slow until it sounds good. My blower ran good on two turns out on high idle then three turns on low idle. Good luck...
The high speed mixture screw is initially set at 1 & 1/2 turns out. Then adjust it to give good acceleration and top speed, while not closing the screw more than you need to. The low speed mixture screw is set at 3/4 of a turn out. Adjust that, to give a smooth idle. The 3rd screw, the idle speed screw, is set to give a low idle speed without stalling.
The Idle screw should just touch the throttle lever to start, the low speed should be set at 1 to 1.5 turns out from lightly seated, and the high speed should be set the same. Final adjustments are made only after it has been warmed up. If you adjust before 2 minutes of use the mixture will be too rich.

The initial setting is 1 1/2 turns out. Screw them all the way in and them turn them 1 1/2 turns out. This is the starting position and should start, it may need some final adjustments to run like you need it to run. Remember more the screw is out the more fuel it will get. Good Day.
Sounds like carb. may need adjusting. Take the heat box off to expose carb., there should be 2 adjustment screws- 1 on the bottom of the bowl and 1 on the side of the carb just above the edge of the bowl ( depending how the carb sets off the engine - if the carb comes straight out it will be on the side facing towards the front of the snow blower or if it goes towards the handles then standing other side of the snow blower the screw will be facing you), turn both screws in til they just bottom out the turn them out 1 1/4 turns out then start the machine. While the machine is running at low idle turn the screw on the side of the carb. in (clockwise) a little at a time listening for the engine to start to rev up and then start to rev down, bog or studder then turn back slightly to bring idle back up. Once the idle is up then the screw on the very top of the carb. turn that out to lower idle to a normal idle. Repeat those adjustments till you cant get the idle to go up anymore. Now for the screw on the bottom of the bowl- move the throttle up to max and turn the screw in till you hear it rev up higher and starts to bog or sputter then turn it back slightly to bring the high rev to a smooth rev. That should take care of it. If it does not solve it then the carb may need cleaning then the adjustments done again. If you need more help on this please feel free to ask. Sometimes you have to do process of elimination and you start with the easiest first. Also the adjustments should help with the carbon build up on the plug.
ok then these are the low and high speed adjusting screws. first make sure the spark plug is clean of buildup or new . what you need to do is first try to get it to idle with the low adj screw. now im not sure which ones which so try one and if it makes no difference during idle then try the other. start it if it dies turn the screw , repeat this until you get the right sound and steady idle.once you figure out the low screw trun it all the way clockwise then turn it counter about 2 turns. then tune the idle from here. you want it to have a steady sounding idle. now the idle sounds good use the high screw to adjust the throttle. give it about half throttle and turn the high screw until it sounds steady here. then go to full throttle and turn high screw until it sounds steady here. now it should sound steady at idle and throttle. and try not to trun the screws more than 1/8 to 1/4 turn at a time,especially the high, you dont want to blow it up. lemme know how it goes
