SOURCE: remove passenger tail light
I have not yet worked on a Pilot, but from experiance, a lot of tail lights are pulled from the inside and not the out. You may check to see if it comes out from the trunk and not straight off the back from the outside.
gabenevins, a lot of places are selling the entire assembly and not just the lens. I would continue looking until you find just the lens unless you want to buy the whole piece. I do not know what the cost difference is. Perhaps pjpc might be able to tell you where to get just the lens.

Yes. Behind the carpeting in the trunk you will see a small plastic clip or "rivet". I think there are two, but you will need a small hammer to knock that out. Be sure to be ready to catch the taillight before you do it. You will also need spare clips to reattach it. I havent bought them from the dealer for mine, and it seems to be secure. No water has entered the housing or the trunk, so I dont believe they are necessary.
SOURCE: need to remove the windows switch
You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door
