That oil would be ok, but it is unlikely to make your engine quieter.

Bajaj boxer engine miss then heat

Hi Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Insufficient oil supply, or oil not circulating.
2. Insufficient air passing over the engine.
3. Heavy carbon deposits.
4. Ignition timing retarded due to faulty MAP, CKP, O2, and/or CMP sensors.
5. Leaking intake or exhaust valve.

Hi, Ashismnt for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Bajaj boxer motorcycle 100cc gearbox and engine lubrication maintainance. do gearbox need lubrication? which type of lube?

Oil changes are all you need to do for engine lubrication. 10w40 motor oil is what goes into the gearbox. NEVER use synthetic lubricants in the engine. Thay can mess up the clutch. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

I have bought a 2nd hand pulsar 150 2006 it has got an overheating problem and the engine is very rough (too much vibration)

its either too lean(runs hot, causes vibrations, hesitates on acceleration) or there is a problem with the lubrication system(not enough oil to the piston = alot of friction=running hot. hope that helps
