Question about kawasaki KX 250 Motorcycles

1 Answer

I require a diagram of kickstart assembly, as son pulled his apart and it is not meshing properly now. As i was not there when he did it i don't know how it should be. We have put in new cogs and springs, but it is still not engaging. It is engaged if pushed down on slowly, but if it is kicked normal it just slips. Thanks to anyone that may be of assistance.

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part and/or the notation "Not Available" is in the description, the part is not in stock.

Engine problems

Sounds like it could be the kicker spring. If it is getting weak it could be not fully returning which in turn is still engaged while it's running. I would pull the cover and see if there's any debris in the housing. Sounds like it could be the spring or the assembly itself, but you won't really know until you pull it apart.

Need to know how to set the pinion nut.

the purpose of the collapsible spacer is to get the correct pinion bearing pre load. First step is to know the required pinion preload setting for your diff. Assuming that you have the correct mesh for the gears then insert the pinion seal. Assemble the pinion flange and do up the nut while moving back and forth the pinion flange to allow the bearing rollers to seat properly. using a suitable torque measuring procedure adjust the pinion nut until that torque setting is reached. ( suitable is the correct tool or attach a round disc of known dia to the flange and by calculation of radius times force ---from say a spring balance with a string wrapped around the disc--) That is to say 12 lb pull on a 4" radius disc will ==48ft/lb torque. All diffs using a collapsible space are assembled typically..; My reference is ford

Looking for a diagram or schematic for a senco fp18

I have a SENCO FinishPro18 that I inherited from my son when he died a year ago. It has worked fine till now. It does not shoot a nail when depressed against a board and I pull the trigger. I don't hear air leaking, but it seems there is little pressure. Having taken apart the head, then the base, it all seems in good shape. I have not taken apart the trigger assembly, as the removal is a total commitment. Thoughts? I could use some help.

My son has dropped his Mazda6 2003 model fuel filler cap which has subsequently fallen apart. We can pretty much assemble it, but where does the spring go?Has anyone got a diagram?

It should hold the pressure release, between the rubber and the outer part of cap. I would suggest replacing it, so that you know that the thank will breath properly .sorry no may try a salvage yard hope this helps.

Wiring Assembly for Wiper Blades

This happened to mine. There is a black box under your dash that controls your wipers have you replaced that first? I tore down my steering column replaced the wiring swirch andall it was is that black box under my dash... If it is the wiring switsh you have to get a sterring wheel puller it makes it easy. Take it all apart you will see the wirer running from the wiper switch down to the dash unplug them on both sides and pull it thru your steering column. get a new one or go to junk yard much cheaper than 80 dollars at advance auto. And put it back together the way you took it apart. There are lots of screws so dont loose them.. Hopeful this will help you but like i said check that black box under your dash first it is a easy fix if thats your problem.
