Hi
If the battery has been sitting flat... it is probably now stuffed. When left flat for more than a day or 2, a problem develops where the lead plates of the battery become coated with sulphate increasing the batteries internal resistance. Whilst it may measure 12 volts, when you draw any current from it, the volts die away.
Are you able to put a 12 volt lamp across the batt and see what happens?
Do you have any electrical activity when you try to start it, clicking, lights, anything??
Let me know and we can work from there
regards
Robotek

my 2007 suzuki bandit 1250 does not idle after engine warms up. Also after engine warm up when accelerating from stop through 3000rpm it hesitates. Even after passing 3000rpm and traveling it still hesitates.
