Most likely cause is a bent shift fork but it could be worn dogs on the gears. If the fork is bent it could be forcing the slider gear against the freewheeler with too much force and not allowing the dogs to positively engage. Unfortunately only way to check is to split cases and inspect. I've disassembled a '03 cr230f motor and trans to its individual parts. Seems intimidating but with a service manual you can do it!

Grand Cherokee began shifting hard. Sometimes feels like long time to get into 2nd gear. When coming to stop, seems to shift into 1st gear suddenly, like skipping over 3rd and 2nd gears on downshift.

You don't say what year model. Could be vacuum leak, or perhaps trans filter and fluid needs to be changed. If this doen't help, might be time for trans shop testing.

Hi my suzuki gs500 is hard to get in 2nd gear in hot weather as i ride also once in 2nd gear and changeing gears i get high revs i think maybe iam not shifting the gear properly in place sometimes more...

This sounds like a slightly bent shift fork. Extremely dirty gearbox oil can also cause the problem, so I suggest you start there. The fork replacement is very costly. Have a dealer look at it if changing oil doesn't help. Get their opinion first hand and get a quote on repair costs.

one thing, check your gear selector, sometimes if that sharp edge is rounded out, worn out from usage, your gears may either slip, or wont wove at all.
