Question about 2001 Yamaha WR 426 F
I have a '01 WR 426, one thing is, it is a bear to kick over. When I stand on kicker, it doesn't move. I need to pull the compression release and give a full kick then, recoil and then I get get a compression filled kick. The bike will then back fire, re-kick and maybe start. If it does, it runs like it is mis-firing and then stalls. This repeats over and over.
The starting procedure is... Kick it over slowely untill it stops, pull in the compression release lever and kick just a little more to get it past "Top dead center". (An inch or two) Then let the kick starter return all the way up, .... and give it a smooth firm kick. Not a ****.
