Pull the fuel hose at the carburetor and place the hose end in a small clean can or bottle. Turn on fuel tap--should get thin stream of fuel. If it just drips, the trouble is probably a plugged fuel screen above the bowl of the fuel tap. Remove the screen and soak in carburetor cleaner, then replace and recheck fuel flow. Worst case--replace the fuel tap (drain the tank first).

How do you adjust fuel mixture on predator 212 cc motor. Mine will idle but loads up when above half to full throttle

You should have two adjustments, lo and hi speed. Maybe even a third mechanical adjusting screw that just sets the idle higher by moving the throttle plate open or closed.

It sounds like your mixture is running way too, try adjusting the high speed first to attain the desired 'no-load' rpm which SHOULD NOT be the highest rpm you can get. If you adjust it on the high adjustment to where it screams but 'blubbers' at wide open throttle you are near to where it should be. The blubbering will straighten out under load and cause the motor to run at full power. If you mistakenly adjust it to full rpm in no-load condition, it will be set 'too lean' to safely run the saw. The excess heat generated from the extremely lean condition could either score the piston and cylinder wall or melt a hole in the center of the piston.

Then proceed to adjust the lo setting. Adjust it to where the chain just begins to rotate, then adjust it back to where the chain stops.

Wont start after it is turned off. have to put fuel into the throtal body to start. once started , it runs great. fuel pump was replaced last spring. Can also hear the far left fuel pump relay clicking...

Hello! Change the Fuel Pump Relay...The prime contacts are defective..They are single pole double throw and normally closed for several seconds to prime the pump and then swing open applying battery to the fuel pump on the normally open side...The chatter is that set of contacts not breaking free from their normally closed position...The result is a unprimed fuel pump (which you are priming with gas into the throttle body....That plus the noise...Guru...saailer

Only runs at idle, put throtal at full speed still only runs at idol

If the saw is trying to rev up then maybe you have the brake on. Otherwise the throttle arm must have come out from behind the trigger.. Pull the cover and check

I have a 1994 Yamaha 40 HP 3 cylinder 2 stroke engine starts and runs fine in neutral try to accelerate under load and it only will pull about 2800-3000 RPMs and wont go any faster it will rev fine in...

Reving in neutral does not mean the same thing as under load. If you need to pull 4500rpm under load and for an instant the load was gone, you would probably overrev to 6500. With the cover off and motor not running move the throttle to full forward. Look at your carbs and see if the throttle plates are wide open. If they are not all wide open take it back to the dealer. The throttle adjustment is off. You need the full range of travel from idle to topend.

Problems with my HomeLite UT20760 bogs down, no power

try this
you need to locate your muffler and find screws that remove a screen behind a plate you can remove on the muffler or behind the muffler itself
This screen is a spark arrestor screen and needs to be cleaned and put back or some would say discard all together, but i didnt say that.
give it a look see
this may be your problem and maybe not?
if it was you will see a trmendous difference afterwards
