Crank sensor would be what I would check next . If it gets hot and does the cranks but no start issue see if the tachometer registers while cranking it over .
Turn the ignition key on-off-on-off-on as fast as you can, leaving it turned on at the last turn and the codes will flash out from the check engine light.
probably a security but if you have two keys and both of them dont work go to a parts store that will let you borrow a code reader O reillys etc other than that get the trusty test light out and check power at starter when key is turned make sure the new starter isnt foul in up tap it with a hammer lol
If your old key has a chip in it,then the dealer ship will have to code it.If not,try relearning the key to the ignition, turn the key on,leave it on 10 minutes, then turn it off,and right back on,do this three times,a total of thirty minutes,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.
The theft system is controlled by the BCM (body control module), located behind the glovebox. BCM codes and igniton key module codes must match. Did you have make sure the code generated by the key is a match for the BCM , if not the car will not start. Pellet in key is a resister that has to match the resister setting in the BCM. It is not the keyway module that starts the car,,it is the BCM.
Try this
Put your key in turn it on dont start wait 10 mins remove key wait 10 seconds repeat this a total of 3 times. If that dont work try a different key do the same thing. If that dont work a dealer needs to probably replace and reprogram your ignition switch and keys
hold down on the code search button until the red light stays on, then you push down on the key of what you want to set, like your tv button or vcr button, then enter the code that is under your brand in the code book your remote comes with. after you enter the code your remote light will blink, next press the channel up or down button, if nothing happens you'll need to repeate these steps using the other codes provided to you. If ypu dont have your code book any more, dont go buy a new remote, just go to google.com and type in. jensen universal remote codes, and you will be able to find a new and current list of all the codes you need for your brand/s of tv/vcr/dvd ect that you need hope this helps you, please let me know if you need any help in the future
