Check the spare tire also as some spares have TPMS sensors and when low will set the light.

Look in your owners manual and it should tell you how to re-set the pressure tire sensors. If one will next re-set it's usually a bad sensor. if that is the case the tire will need to be removed to replace the sensor. Hope this helps.

TPM light stays on. All 4 tires have 26 lbs of air. What is recommended tire pressure?

32 psi is the usual recommended pressure but you may have to fill the tires to 35 psi to make the TPM system reset. That's how most systems recognize that you have serviced the tires. Most TPM systems will indicate low tire pressure around 26-28 psi.

My 2008 highlander 4wd tire pressure warning light just went on. Checked tire pressure on all 4 mounted tires found to have 25-26 psi. Inflated it to 30 psi (recommended) and look for the reset button...

turn the key to the on position (not running)
let at least 6 lbs of air out of each tire
put at least 32 lbs of air back in each tire
turn ignition to off
start vehicle and the light and sensors should be reset

What is the ! on the dashboard?

Hello. Welcome to FixYa. Please allow us to assist you.

The ( ! ) symbol is the Low TIre Pressure Warning light. This light comes on when the a tire (or combination of tires) has insufficient inflation pressure.

When the ( ! ) light comes on, you need to get all of the tire inflations checked, and air added if the pressures are low. The proper pressure for your vehicle are on a sticker inside the metal pillar that is on the driver's side front door area.

2005 toyota highlander, what is the correct tire pressure? Cannot get the air pressure light out after pressing the reset button. What do you suggest. I put 32 lbs of air in the tires

Look on the end of the drivers door or door jam for a sticker that should list the pressures and tire size. I had air removed from my tires and installed nitrogen. It keeps the right level better and doesn't cause the sensors to go bad like air can. $5 a tire at most tire dealers.

Toyota 2007 corolla dashboard icon shows symbol like horseshoe eith exlamation point in it

Sounds like the low tire pressure indicator. Check your tire pressure is correct in all four tires. This happens when the tempature outside starts to drop and so does the pressure in the tires. The recommended tire pressure should be listed on the inside of the driver's side door. Most tires are 32 psi cold. After the tires have been filled to proper pressure it may take 15 minutes for the light to shut off.

How do I reset the low tire indicator light on a 2008 Corolla? I've already properly inflated the tires. According to the manual it's supposed to automatically reset a few minutes after proper inflation.

Have any of the tires been replaced recently? If so get the sensors checked for a dead sensor. If you have a dead sensor, blame it on your tire guy. They destroy them with unfortuante regularity.

...Just make sure that when you check the tires, use an accurate gauge. The tire pumps at service stations are not accurate, and the pen-looking things to check tire pressures are not accurate either.

There is a light on my toyota corolla dashboard with two arrows head meeting each other"

That's for your tire pressure on your car (TPMS). Most times when the tire pressure goes below 25psi, the light on your dash goes on.
You may have a nail in your tire. Or, they are just low.
Air them up to 35psi and the light should go out. Sometimes, there is a pressure senor in the spare tire. To be safe, check the air in the spare tire also.

Low tire pressure light won't stay off after proper reset.

Some newer Toyota vehicles have a sensor in the spare tire. Tires loose air over time naturally. I would check out the spare.
When did this TPS light start coming on?
Have you had new tires put on, or had a flat repair done before the light?

That is the tire pressure monitoring light. Simply air up your tires and it will turn off. If it comes back on then you may have a slow leak.
