Both codes are for a problem with the intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor/Switch Circuit Bank 1. You may need a shop manual to get the test procedures.

2008 Dodge Caliber still misfiring after new spark plugs more engine codes p0301, p0302, P2016, C0300, and P0004, broken bottom/trans/engine mount. Consider engine rebuild or swap to 2.4L?

Before you start putting a lot of money out exchanging parts, try checking compression, check to see if you are low on antifreeze, and with the car running check for a sweet smell from exhaust. My guess would be a blown head gasket, which would be less costly then all the other parts you want to buy. Good Luck Friend.

What are the probable causes of DTCs P2014 and P2016?

P2016 Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor Switch Circuit Low Bank 1
P2014 - Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor/Switch Circuit (Bank 1)
The IMRC system is monitored for failure during continuous or KOEO self-test. Each DTC distinguishes the corresponding failed bank for IMRC actuator assemblies with dual monitor switches. The test fails when the signal on the monitor pin is outside an expected calibrated range. This DTC replaces P1516.
  • IMRC monitor circuit open.
  • Mechanical concern - bind, seize, damage or obstruction of IMRC hardware.

1995. What are the probable causes of DTCs P0012 and P0055?

Code 12 means battery has been disconnected within last 50-100 starts, so controller memory has been cleared.

Code 55 is "end of message"- no further codes. Looks like you have no trouble codes.

07 passat code p0642 related to other codes

code p0642 refers to ECM-knock control defective or sensor reference voltage A circuit low or system voltage- malfunction===causes for ecm is ECM--- for voltage A wiring is short to positive --- for system voltage ---wiring--poor connection--battery---alternator
code p2014 refers to intake manifold air control actuator position sensor/ switch bank 1 circuit malfunction=== causes --wiring --intake manifold air control actuator position sensor/switch
code p0106 refers to manifold absolute pressure MAP sensor/barometric pressure sensor-range/performance problem===causes--intake /exhaust leak--wiring--MAP sensor---Baro sensor.
code p0089 refers to fuel pressure regulator --performance problem===causes--fuel pressure regulator--mechanical fault. I would suggest that you have the battery load tested and the alternator checked for correct output as it may be the common reason for the codes .P0089 will not be electrical as it being a mechanical fault then the regulator needs replacing

2005 dodge stratus SXT 2.4l DOHC died in traffic and won't start

Did you check your camshaft position sensor circuits to see if they were working correctly or test the sensor itself before going out and replacing the sensor?....Didn't think so....

Lesson learned here? Diagnostic Test Codes (DTCs) DO NOT tell you what parts to replace. They only tell you which systems or circuits in your vehicle are not working as they should be. Then it is up to the person diagnosing the car to determine what is actually CAUSING the system or circuit to malfunction......Of coarse, this requires that you must first understand how the system is supposed to work...

Anyway, with some proper diagnosis, I think you will probably find that your cam sensor code (P0340) is being caused by a broken timing belt.
(If the cam does not turn, the cam sensor does not produce a signal, and the computer has a problem with that).
