Yes..
However - it will change the back flow & you will probably need to get the carbs re-tuned after..

And it will be really loud.. Maybe not legal in some states as far as the loudness..

I would suggest a 4 into one header..

Hope this helps !!
rate me good ;o)

How do i wire the coils on my 78 suzuki gs 750. spark plug order which spark plug wire goes where??

There are 2 coils. The coil on the left provides spark for cylinders 1 & 4. The coil on the right provides spark for cylinders 2 & 3. The firing order is 1-2-4-3.
In case you don't know, this little tidbit is something to carry with you for life: Whenever a reference is made to a place in or on a vehicle, it is ALWAYS the perspective "from-left-to-right" of the seated vehicle operator.
In other words, in your case, as you're sitting on the bike, cylinder #1 is the one furthest to your left, and #4 is furthest to your right.

78 susuki gs 750 petcock has no markings center is run wheres reserve and is there an off

95% of the time centre is on forward is reserve and back is off, simple way to make sure is remove the hose at the tap and try it like that, you will have 2 positions where fuel is flowing, on and reserve, the 3rd off.

Have a 78 gs 750, new points, condensors, plugs, plug caps, swapped coils from another gs, and still cylinders 2 &3 are not as hot to the touch as 1&4. Compression checked at acceptable values...

Does the 2 & 3 cylinders have any oil smear on the plugs.? please pull off all the plugs and check the performance. Check the gaps in the plugs. now since you did compression check , I would advice to have the firing of the 2 & 3 plugs with the plug attached checked.
Now correct if the gaps are down or reduce slighly if the intensity is no so good.
now start the engine and remove plug 1 , if it stall , try again with 4, now try with 2 & 3.
Check if the firing order is misplaced or there is lack of HT in the distribution.
check and comment
