I broke my key barrel complety off my ebike .it left me with two white wires how do I start it without key and charge it up

Might have to have the barrel drilled out and replaced, I have removed broken keys with very fine crochet needles and a lot of patience. To take a barrel out without damage the key needs to be turned into the first position to depress the barrel lock pin, which you can't do with the broken key in. Good luck

My truck did the same thing, but what happened was, the smaller second wire on the starter broke. Once i fixed it the starter would shut off like normal.

try some oil down the key barrel

if acc is the one before the starter then no as you have to turn the key in order to start sorry! but if it is lighting the dash up with battery and engine lights then u can short the rear of the ignition barrel by taking off the cowling {around ignition} then there should be wires soldered to the back of what we call the black [or white] box. once youve charged the battery you can cross the back wires using a screw driver, when you hear it turn over you can determine which is the live feed and cross with starter wire. failing this the best i can advise is removing cowling and taking black{or white} box off the back of the ignition barrel end and then you will be able to drive it until you get a new ignition barrel hope that helps

hi this might be caused by the ignition barrel on the back of the ignition it self, if you remove the steering wheel cowling and look behind the barrel ( where you put the key ) you will see a connection with wires going to it normally a black or white round thing you can normally remove it if you locate the grub screw ( normally an allen key type screw ) remove that and just pull out the connector then follow the wires to the other end there should be a plug, unplug that and then you can replace the unit with another one....hope this helps

you have not replace the pickup harness in the ignition switch, This is part of the barrel assembly, it actually reads the key. it has two wires in a yellow insulation sleave which connects from the barrel to a plug underdash. the other end to the plug has two wires in it that are purple, and white. which send the key resistance to the security module. you can bypass this wire harness if you can match the resistance from the key and hook it up to the purple and white wires under dash.

Yes you do need to charge the ignition barrel as it sounds as if the current one knakered, try going to the scrappy but be sure to get a barrel that they have the keys for also remember to keep your other keys for your car.

get a new ignition, sounds like the pins that take shape of the key are broke.

i had same problem with a broken white wire.you need to go to dealer with you old key to match that chip with new keys and purcase a ignition switch at the same time
