Question about 2005 Suzuki RM-Z 450
I had my spark plugs changed the other day. When I went to start it up It would not start and made a large backfiring noise.I took the air box off and looked at the boots. I noticed that two were in the wrong spot. I tried to start it again and it did the same thing. THis time smoke was coming from the two air intake ports on the left side of the bike. THere was also oil around the intake edges. I don't want to start it again because I don't want to ruin the bike if it is not already ruined. THe only aftermarket product I have on my bike is an exhaust can. THis is for a 2005 GSXR 600. Thanks
Sounds like you still have some wires crossed up somewhere. Should be 2 from one coil on 1 and 4, and the 2 from the other coil should be 2 and 3.
