Question about Yamaha SR 125 Motorcycles
I have a YamahaSR125 It will start with choke out full but as soon as you push choke back in it stops it will run ok with choke out but races alot I have been told it might be the jets or O rings I have had carb cleaned out and its been put back ok Could any 1 Help am at my wits end. I have tried to find a carb over haul kit or a new carb on the net but cant find anything
Sounds more like when the reinstalled your carb after cleaning, they did not ensure a proper seal from the carb to intake manifold. This is common! It could be no more than an intake leak. Start your motor and Spray a little WD40 just behind the carb on the intake seals. Be carefull not to spray into the throat of the carb as this will cause a false reading. A variance in the idle of the motor when you do this indicates an intake leak.
