Simple job. The low beams are 9006 bulbs and the high beams are 9005. The only one you may have trouble replacing is the passenger side high beam which requires moving the power steering fluid reservoir out of the way to access. Each bulb has its own connector. They just slide off but you need to ensure you press the release catch on the connector before doing so. Look at the replacement bulb and you will notice a small tab or bump on the one flat side of the bulb base right near where the bulb plugs into the connector. This tab holds the connector on because part of the connector rides over the tab and holds onto it. Reach in and press the release catch near the wired end of the connector then slide the connector off. Rotate each bulb about 1/4 turn counter clockwise to remove from the lamp assembly. New ones just install in the reverse order.

first see if you can reach behind the whole light and get to the connector, daytime running light is more towards the centre of the truck. if you can reach it, just turn it and pull the bulb out. if not then its either going to be bolts or long rods holding the light in place, remove those and then turn the connectors to expose the bulbs

Bypass head light switch and see what you get. Three items can cause your problem . The head light switch, flasher relay , shorts in circuit. I would go with switch.

are you using the stock OEM light wattage?
If you're running higher wattage than what is recommended ... you will
run the risk of premature failure ... plus you could burn up the light
wiring harness. If you are only using stock wattage and having this
issues.. are you using SilverStars? They aren't known for lasting long in some cars.
Otherwise:
Make sure the headlight lens does not have any cracks. If moisture is
getting in it will burn out quicker. Also check to make sure the
electrical socket is not corroded. If it is, use an electrical cleaner
and then put a dab of dielectric grease in the socket. When installing
the new bulb, do not touch the glass part. Oil from your hands may
shorten the bulb's life.
Check your under the hood fuses for your high beams, if anything but the
correct fuse is in there it will kill the bulb from over powering it. If that's
good, check the power wire, make sure it is not grounding out, and then check your grounds.
If all else fails go to http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/
make an account and download the Factory Service Manual they have one for the EP3 and while it's the USDM version I'm sure your ground connections and voltages are the same.
