Hi there,

Well, If the cables are ok then the problem is in the front wheel speed sensor. need to be changed.

Hi, Miguel before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter motor or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.

On my 1998 Honda Accord, the ABS light came on, is this due to a brake problem?

The ABS light can be tripped if the system doesn't receive a signal from the wheel sensor. If it happens again, take it to a shop and have them check the tone ring/ABS sensors. A dealer can hook it up to their computer and scan for the issue, but you'll pay a lot more. I'd just check the physical stuff before paying for the scan.

We bought a Mongoose SR Suntour M2000N (21-speed) at a local sports store and had trouble with all of the gears shifting. We took the bike back & the store said they retrieved a new bike from another...

Sports Store? Do they also sell fishing tackle, skis and appliances? Take it back and buy a real bike at a real Bicycle Shop.

It will be fully functional and fitted to your son before you take it home and in a month or so they'll probably re-tune the shifting and everything for free.

If you can't find a nearby bicycle shop easily

try the local cycling community...
They'll know where the good shops are.

Batter drains when trying to start. had in shop 4 times for same problem. like theres a short some where

Hi, it is normal for the battery to drain while starting the bike, the question is why does the bike fail to start
Has the shop. Considered the battery may be faulty?done a drop test on the battery, checked for possible high voltage drains, does the bike start with a push?when the bike runs does it charge the bike sufficiantly? Does the bike run with no problems, what is the shops theory on this matter? Poss starter motor problem in the likelyhood the battery is in good order, but you must do all the ness checks before purchasing a new or used starter, i would suggest try a new shop for a second opinion first, regards paul

I have a 2005 cbr600rr will not start got spark fuel and compression any ideals thanks

will the bike push start? if it does, then you may either have a weak battery which should read sitting at 'least' 12.4v ...12.6-12.7v is preferred.. 13v is perfect. If the bike doesn't push start, then i would look into the fuel delivery system..make sure fuel selector is working..try "reserve" position, maybe then replace or clean fuel filter...or it could be the injectors aren't receiving
the proper signal, does your bike show any FI faults? If it does then you'll have to take it to the shop and run a diagnostics on it. i"ll assume that it doesn't have a fault and that it will push start, but probably doesnt run properly.
Then go to Autozone and purchase a can of Sea Foam and pour 1/3 of can into 2 gallons fuel, push start it, and ride it around for about 10 to 15 miles and get on it once in awhile if you can, to get the stuff to clean out the fuel system. hope this helps you if it does can you rate my answer thanks!

Hi, i bought HERO HONDA KARIZMA before 3months and it went through its first servicng only, and it`s pickup has reduced so much and it is giving mileage about 27-29.Thats it. I am very disappointed bec

Ask your friend do an actual milage check, not just an inexact " I get about 40mpg " as he says. What is he really getting? Driving at top speeds is better for an engine than city driving. Have the dealer do a compression check. The valves may need to be adjusted, (minor thing). If riding highway, get a larger front sprocket, i.e.13 tooth sprocket changed to a 14 tooth sprocket. This will help mpg. Driving fast is not good for mpg.

As far as owner maintenance, the best thing you can do for yourself is to ride over to the dealer to pick up a can of chain lube and ask them to give you some instructions in owner maintenance for your bike. They will be happy to show you what you can do and HOW to do it. This includes adjusting the chain. Don't be bashful. Ask questions; "How often is that needed? What do I look for? What tells me I need to bring it in? Can I get those parts here?" Build a relationship with your dealer. You will both benefit more that way than if I just tell you how to do the adjustments.
