Question about 2008 Honda GL 1800 Gold wing Deluxe
From reading countless opinions of other Goldwing owners, it seems the
majority prefer Mobil Delvac 1300 Super Motor Oil 15W-40 and the
Purolator PL14610 PureONE Oil Filter.
I have been using this oil and filter on my 2008 GL1800 with 6000 mile change intervals and haven't had any problems. I currently have 33,*** miles.

For the past 85,000 miles I have used 5W30 Semi-synthetic oil from WalMart (their brand) year round.
I just adjusted the valves on my goldwing - and the innerds are clean and sludge free. It leaks no oil and consumes same (zero). I change the oil filter every 2 thousand miles and the oil every 4 thousand.
I would use full synthetic - except that I pull a trailer sometimes - and it can cause the clutch to slip with that added drag.

Depends on where you live. if you live in a mild climate 50-90's-- any 10-40w is good. colder weather you ride in just decrease the viscosity of the oil you choose.
