Are you sure your fuel mix is correct? I think the mix for that bike is around 1/24-1/26. That is the gallon of gas to the amount of oil added to the gas. Is that bike oil injected maybe? Putting a new plug in tells it's a fuel problem with the "oily" stuff on the old one. Try looking online if you don't have a manual on it. Just look for the gas mixture ratio. But being a two stroke it could get more complicated like the reeds. These are after the carb on the way to the cylinder head. Start with the fuel mix and make sure the gap on the plug terminal is right. You should be able to find that online somewhere too. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR YOUR HELMET AND BOOTS! lol

change the oil. it sounds like it is full of fuel. if its not burning the fuel it is just filling the crankcase.

No spark on a 1995 polaris xlt 600

Could be a bad cdi box. Ive this problem with my xlt when I go for a ride, stop to eat and head back out to go home it won't start. I've usually had to choke it, and pull until it starts. My issue is carb settings. If you don't have spark I'd try replacing your cdi. If you know someone with the same sled try there's.

Hi, check that the choke is operating and make sure the plug is wet after cranking. If so replace the sparkplug as it may be breaking down under compression. Also make sure it has compression ad it may have a stuck valve. regards Phil

Ive took my yiying to a local bike machanic as my bike is not firing up he's checked it over and told me there is no sparks he's changed the spark plug that didnt work he also told me to buy a new cdi as...

Hi, Gilmour88 if you have a CKP sensor it needs compression to send the correct signal to the ICM/ECM, make sure both spark plugs are in heads and use a grounded third plug to check for spark or hold spark plug cable close to spark plug in the head. If still not getting spark the usual suspects are:
1. Fouled spark plugs.
2. Discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
3. Loose connection at ignition coil or plug between ignition sensor and module.
4. Spark plug cables in bad condition, shorting / leaking, spark plug cable connections loose.
5. Faulty ignition coil or ignition / electronic module
6. Failed CKP, CMP, or BAS sensor.
7. Faulty ignition switch.
8. Security alarm failing to disarm needs reset

Had carbs rebuilt, Had compression checked, Okay. Spark is good on all 4.But #2 Sparkplug gets wet but not oily & it runs on 3 cyl. after 8 or 10 miles.

It is giveing all the indications of a coil or spark plug breaking down under load as the machine has two coils one provideing spark to cylinders1&3 the other to 2&4 you can swap them over from left to right just remember to tag the wireing as to its original location before removeing it. sory Ive jumped ahead of my self there before doing any of this swap no 1 & 2 plugs around it may be just a dud plug its cheaper to replace a plug than a coil if the same cylinder continues to break down its almost certainly the coil if however the other cylinder shows a fuel wet plug replace the plugs with a new set enjoy the ride

Are my carbs blocked

you are going to have to open up the carbs and look at your jets screws. take a thin wire poke it through and blow it out.. replace and enjoy the like new feeling ride.
